One key element for me is a content maintenance review. I don't worry about date remover plugins, I have a schedule to review all content in a mangeable timeline, review the content to ensure it is not aged or if there is a new question that could be answered. I can get around 100's of articles each month. Fresh and funky!

Hi Jim and Ricky. I know you guys don't recommend using SEO tools to try and guess search volume, but one thing I haven't heard you talk about is the search volume that Google search console shows us for specific keyword phrases and whether or not you think that information is useful. Would love to see that in an upcoming episode! Thanks for all that you do! Amazing work.

Love your videos! You two are the real deal and so appreciate your honesty on the wild west of the internet! Have a question. Could you give a written title example of the buffet title on a post? You mentioned kittens.. From what you spoke of, it made me confused about the title length. Google won't mind all the extra in parentheses? Thank you! Caroline Powley
@onlinemoneylineenglish55014 жыл бұрын
The concern about the length makes sense and that's what he also discussed. See, you can do it like "Kittens - Care | Training | Selling | Price | Purchase etc. ( keep it 60 characters). You can also do "Kittens - All you need to kow". Google won't mind. I've seen SEVERAL posts ranking with multiple paranthesis. Hope it helped!

For breaking up the log posts do you create multiple blogs? How do you tell Google that they are the same post but different pages?
@lydialutz Жыл бұрын
I like the stop displaying the dates for old posts BUT only for some websites. The date matters a lot for some content. I actually AVOID posts where I cannot see the date for some things. Because I know if it is old it won't be the content I need. I need to see the current recommendations in tech content areas.

Question: About removing the old dates from some content - I've seen some sites that will revamp (to what degree is unclear) their content with wording like "updated for 2019" in the title. I wonder if that would be effective? I guess it probably is, because it's worked on me. Maybe you could go back through old posts and then make some tweak to them all and then rebrand them, maybe even every year?
@KenYamamotoEarnhart5 жыл бұрын
Neil Patel recommends adding dates in the post (or title) so researchers can see it in Google and see that it's updated. You just have to update the dates and the information every year so it's updated. And when you update a post, Google will consider it as a new post. Is this true?
