That means you gotta do something for real and a DECADE before you go online.
@IncomeSchool10 күн бұрын
Not for a decade. But yeah, you have to be real. If you don’t do what you create content about, that makes you a fake and that’s why Google doesn’t show almost any blog content anymore.

@IncomeSchool When I look at those videos from pilots, lawyers professional martial artists. Jordan Peterson...etc Their successful youtube channels aren't overnight. Kids who just wanna skip work and school and just be successful online maybe will take longer.

I'm actually of the sentiment that Google is dropping all content they don't directly gain from financially. I have become more than frustrated with Google that I'm exploring other search engines. What happens is that I would search for something very specific, make sure that I enter the the search term exactly as per that which I'm searching for and Google would bombard me with endless amounts of irrelevant paid results that I simply cannot find what I'm searching for in the search results, not even if I go beyond page 5 of the results. It is really annoying because no matter how badly google wants to punt an irrelevant result that will bring them money if I click on it, I have no interest in it because it is not what I'm looking for. Google also removed the ability to exclude certain terms from the search results by just putting a "minus" (-) in front of the term in the search bar which is forcing me to see all the irrelevant search results that I specifically don't want to see. As for the overwhelmed part of your video, that hit home. I've been in the electrical trade my entire working career and two years ago I sustained a serious injury that has resulted in me no longer being able to do most of what I used to do and is required in my trade and I lost my job. The last company I worked at I used to run large contracts of several million Dollars and was also very involved in the parallel integrated security projects. Out of desperation I decided to start a business that would operate in the security sector and provide integrated solutions that combine automation, access control, CCTV, alarm systems and more but having registered the business, domain and hosting, I've hit a wall. In the past I easily taught myself how to do a website and had a very effective responsive joomla website live within 3 days from having no prior knowledge of how to do websites. This time I followed advice and got WordPress hosting and a template I liked and now have no idea what to do next. Whenever I want to start my brain goes blank and I don't know what to do first. I need to get over this urgently because I'm rapidly running out of money and I cannot afford to pay someone to do it for me. Any advice over and above the great advice in the video would be helpful. Whatever money I spend now will come from what I can spend on advertising and I cannot afford to do that. Thanks for great content as always.

Such solid advice! Find the "one thing" to do, don't get distracted and DO IT! "Let your eyes look directly ahead And let your gaze be fixed straight in front of you. Watch the path of your feet And all your ways will be established. Do not turn to the right nor to the left...” Proverbs 4:25-27

I have a secret trick i do, as I work from home on my own stuff. Each evening, I take a piece of paper and write down all the tasks I'd like to accomplish the next day, leave it on my desk, then pretend my "boss" has left this note for me and I better get this stuff done. It actually works for me, silly as it sounds.

I'm going to get moving on creating the new lead guitar course I've been promising my subscribers for months. The thing about doing this stuff full time is you think you have more time but so many things can pop up throughout the day. One thing I need to do is set aside large blocks of time, 3-4 hours, where I'm working on just one thing, undisturbed, for that period of time that I need to finish it (could be Mon-Wed, 10am-4pm, for the next 3 weeks, for example). Because, yes, all the other things still need to continue (KZbin videos, socials, etc).
@IncomeSchool11 күн бұрын
Yes! Set aside everything else that you can and give yourself blocks of time. Being full time doesn’t mean you’ll use that time efficiently… I think I used to be more productive when I had less time because it was focused time. I’m working on regaining that focus for more of my work time.

Hi Ricky, batching tasks works well for me. I record a bunch of videos in one sitting. Then edit them in one sitting. Then upload them all and schedule them. Do all the thumbnails at one time. Really helps stay focused and productive. Thanks for the video!

How I do stay productive is coming up with a form of reward for myself for completing an important goal (daily) A reward as simple as a glass of my favourite drink, and this has been working for me

See, what you call "traffic", I on the other hand call "viewers" (like myself), but sure, see how well that traffic works out without viewers. The pace at which viewers are leaving.... go do some research. I have been using this platform since 2011 (almost 15 years) and I am leaving before end of this year... unlike 2011 us viewers have MANY alternative options... you care about making money by creating content... sure... but I dislike how viewers are seen as some kind of something unrelated, which unless yt bot traffic counts, sure... but hey, if you are desperate mate... I heard you can purchase views also... it is not as if those yt guideline really mean anything these days

I don’t understand your comment. What point are you making? I’m here to help creators, if that was unclear.
@xXstevilleXx14 күн бұрын
@@IncomeSchool and that is my point, helping creators means nothing without viewers... trust me, you can have the most effective, ingenious tips, but sadly you need viewers... if you still don't understand it, perhaps it will only be clear if there is none to subscribe, ergo zero click, views and engagement... I might sound blunt, disrespectful, but I am not, it is just who I am. Look I get it, you want to earn an income, so you suggest strategies and methods to maximize your income and those creators whom you are trying to help, but as a viewer, you should actually consider things from the perspective of the viewer not the creator... I mean have you engaged with viewers, asking them what would have them subscribe, watch and so on? That is my point, it is not about creators, it is about viewers... it really is as simple as that. Like I said, I have been using YT since 2011 which is longer than 65% of subscribers.

This is probably one of the most informative, down-to-earth, clear-as-water videos about what's going on in blogging and what should we do next that I've come across lately. It's true I haven't watched a lot of them even in Income School, but ... Really loved this one, got me a few ideas on what to do next. I've watched 40 minutes of video without realizing time passing by, that's how interested I was. Thanks a lot!!
