Idk...was the Video slowed down? The combat in most games in this video looked really slow... Or maybe i'm just used to DS and ER 😂 About lords of the fallen: we shouldnt talk about either of these two games. The combat of the remake was really bad. I stopped playing after the first biss,so maybe later it gets better, but i really didnt like it at all.

lol No. I didn't slow anything down. But soullike games are kinda notorious for slower combat. Well, the newer Lords of the Fallen is much better than the old one. I actually liked it. But I don't mind snail paced combat.

Ballad of Antara looks really good but it is a F2P (probably meaning gacha) so I'm not sure how it is going to be balanced around the monetization.

That is a valid concern. But games like Path of Exile 2 and seeing the player response to it, gives me hope that F2P doesn’t always mean bad. And maybe they will get better and better overtime.

I wish Wu Long had a boss rush mode. I thought the bosses were some of the best feeling fights I’ve ever had in a video game but the level design and enemy placement is so dogshit in that game

True. I liked Wolong. It had one of the smoothest parries I have experienced. But I also thought it was kinda thin on story and after about halfway through it started to feel redundant.

Not to mention the controller layout too. I think it was 'B/O' hold to dodge and press to parry. With no re-mapping available I found it unplayable

@@AlmissaGaming Lies of P is the best soulslike to date IMO. I enjoyed Lords of the Fallen. But Lies of P was much better.

@@MattackGaming I've played Code Vein and the AI Limit demo. Similarities : Souls-like, characters design and post apocalyptic sci-fi environment. But the gameplay is a bit different.

@@MattackGaming From a character design standpoint, yes. Other than that, no. Code Vein is a very luminous game in terms of artistic direction. Here the zone of Ai Limit's demo is pretty bleak and grey (sometimes reminiscent of Nier Automata).

The last one sounds terrible. I have no interest in multiplayers, especially not a Fortnite knock off. I want a Bloodborne 2 or another game just like it. Optional co-op is cool. If I wanted to PvP others, I'd play one of the COD titles.

It's actually not PVP at all. It's only similarity to Fortnite is the collapsing circle. I have a full trailer breakdown on my channel where I lay out everything we know so far, if you want to learn more about it. I think it's gonna be good. But I get it, I want a Bloodborne 2, or a brand new IP, or a Sekiro sequel, even Sekiro DLC would be nice. But this game is not being directed by Miazaki. Which means he is working on something else. So fingers crossed.

AI Limit is just a chini rip-off of Code Vein. More or less the same Anime art, post-apocalyptic sci-fi setting, soulslike, etc. Nothing original.

I have never played Code Vein. So I can't speak on that. But just because it isn't original, doesn't make it a bad game automatically.
