Great vid! Only tip thats not in here was (using you microphone) The power of communication is vital as well. I can manipulate the game this way and call plays or calm ppl down if they aren’t shooting well or not feeling like they’re not getting the ball. Best tip is as a point guard know you can score at anytime. So don't ball hog or force your style on others. Pg should be able to adapt all the time

:( I’m one of those pgs with 75 pass accuracy. I regret it a lot when going against comp players with high steal. 75 works for 3s but not for 5s 😢

PG is the most important position in solo rec. Another tip, if you can make the other team lose faith in their PG you can win easily. Force turnovers, bad shots, bad passes early and they will ice him

Amen! I've been preaching these very things. I can't even tell you how many games I facilitate as my center build because the PG is ass. The better players put the ball into my hands constantly because they know I have the IQ and court vision to make the best pass/play available to make the bucket.

Couldn’t agree more about the slowing down when coming up the court. But the problem is that 2k made steals and bumps way too op this year so you can’t stand still and wait for the guy to get up the court if you have a lock spamming you. Literally crossbody reaches while you’re holding L2 and you’ll still get plucked by some clown that just spams

Leaving your icons up unless you're in a scoring position up'd my game tremendously. Just had 12 assist in rec my first game after watching this. my build is a hybrid lockdown defender so i can guard any position 1-5 and normally be flying all over the place trying to help whoevers man might be cooking them but i focused on getting good looks for my teammates so we could set up our defense and matchups and disrupting the other teams pg and the flow of their offense and we won by 50.

3:25 tbh the game doesn’t seem to waste time on stand still teams. I use the longest lasting emotes to extend the time I have to scout match ups

Thing I hate about random rec is the fact that you have to tell someone to pass the damn ball to the open person... Now I can see if a person is missing shots but most random pg's don't pass the ball not even knowing if the person can shoot or not that is the most annoying BS ever
