DIY doesn't get more stylish and ecofriendly than this. Try 7 different styles of fabric flowers from scrap fabric (I've used scraps I collected from my local tailor which was to go to landfill). These flowers are easy to make, extremely satisfying and brings in a lot of cheer, something we all need in current times!
The flowers are all hand sewn and is a perfect beginner's project to hand sewing - using only running stitches. What more, there are so many ways to use them functionally and decoratively - that's a hint for an upcoming tutorial ;) These flowers are also simple enough for children over 8 to sew with help. Hand sewing is an extremely valuable craft that brings muscular coordination, focus, spacial perception, judgement and more. Everyone has a piece of scrap lying around, let's transform them into a thing of beauty that lasts forever.

Thanks Renee ! The flower on the right side at 4:41 is the same pointed Kanzashi, only its centre is another little flower embellishment which I already had, so I stitched that instead of the pearl bead :)

The fabric needs to be very thin in order to turn out like your sample..slightly thicker results in LARGE hole in centre..more difficult to cover..pretty ….thank you..🇨🇦
