There's quite a few teams formed and owned by Companies in Indonesia. Most of them are the remnants of Galatama, Indonesian semi-professional league from 1979 to 1994. Semen Padang FC (yeah it's their real name) is one of the clubs that still exists in the country's football pyramid. It's named and still owned by a state-owned cement company Semen Indonesia, through their subsidiary in the city of Padang, West Sumatra. Another example is Semen Tonasa FC, a South Sulawesi based club which also owned by another subsidiary of Semen Indonesia there. There's also Bank Sulselbar FC in South Sulawesi, owned by a bank with the same name.

There is a club in the northern zone of Thai League 3 in Phayao province owned by a rice milling company named "โรงสีแม่ใจธนะโชติวัฒน์ พะเยา" which literally means "Maechaithanachotiwat Phayao". Maechai refers to the name of the district where the mill is located although officially, it is spelled Mae Chai (two words, our romanisation is still a mess when it comes to names of individual entities). The whole Maechaithanachotiwat is the name of the milling company.
