I went from P4 to D3 in a weekend playing Malzahar support, 43 wins 9 losses. Liandry's negates the health increase benefits of all champions and seeing as you also have increased durability you're not as vulnerable in lane when engaged on and not as easily bursted down while casting your ult. He has an extremely low cooldown silence and the ability to permaslow with rylai's and e+perma q refreshes when you build some cdr. Severely underrated.

Orianna support. Her E ball passive just makes your adc even tankier with the durability patch. I've been having MASSIVE success with her lately. Her kit is just so strong in all stages of the game

@@emranao4394 what I love is that by level 6 you already grant your adc an 800+ gold lead in defensive stats if you level up your E. Add in her ultimate and W to burst divers and your adc should have plenty of time to take down the enemy adc. I use Aery, Manaflow band, transcendence, and gathering storm (to allow for mid-late scaling even with support items). Secondary I use Resolve with Bone plating and Revitalize to play backline or Inspiration with Biscuits and Cosmic insight for better summoner cd's. Items I run are Shurelya's, Lucid Boots, and either ardent censor or staff of flowing water. Then just to annoy the enemy team, Frozen heart or Zhonyas. Your ult makes any engage by the enemy team a dangerous prospect. Even without massive damage, the cc can instantly disrupt them in objective fights. If you WANT to do even more, trade out the shurelyas for imperial mandate and watch the massacre happen after you ult an enemy team. You can effectively add an extra 1500 damage to an enemy team, along with adding more punch to your spells (since you gain AP per legendary with mandate).

brand and zyra are DoT liandry users, so the more life = more damage. Velkoz does true damage and Senna wants to survive to scale to late game, there is a reason why they are different from a lux poke support for example.

I have played some games lately with xerath and lux , but on the early we couldn't get any kill wich was frustrating ; then i watched this and tried to play Galio , and that was a hell of a fun game . Thank you for always keeping us up with the support stuff , all love and support my man ;)

I'm a blitzcrank one trick and if your adc has some form of cc hook = kill most of the time still. If you are the only cc then yes people escape more.

As a Vel'koz onetrick, I'm pissed. Might be a garbage take, but I am not looking forward to having to worry about locking in vel. I'd much rather not be as effective if I didn't have to worry about the enemy picking vel.

Have been having good success with Everfrost Blitzcrank this patch (~plat elo). The extra durability from the patch supplements what would otherwise be a lack of tankiness from not going Evenshroud or Locket, and the AP from Everfrost combined with Blitz's amazing ratios and extra CC time from the Everfrost Active have let me maintain 1 hook = 1 kill with the champ. Everfrost's big mana bump adds onto Blitz's durability even more, since his Mana Barrier shield wasn't nerfed like the majority of other shielding going into 12.10. Coupling this with the ability to more effectively disengage with Glacial proc'ing on Everfrost, the pick has felt really good!

Being a Senna main, I have to say that there is so much more to Senna's build variety than "Eclipse + more AD and lethality". But she's indeed the best user of Umbral Glaive in the game and I suggest building it first every time. Locket build now is as good as ever, and you mitigate the early loss of AD by staying alive and farming more mist. In teamfights you will get focused one way or another, so it's great to be deceptively tanky and give your team time to retaliate. And, of course, Senna can use the best mythic of the patch - Divine Sunderer, and even pair it with Black Cleaver if your team is heavy AD.

Thanks Mirai! My knowledge of Senna builds is a bit lacking so appreciate the additional color. I just went with the most common build in the video! Also yah, umbral glaive is too nuts. I agree with Eliot either give us AP users an option or get rid of it.

@@eliotroy4760 100% I play MF support and build her hybrid. Usually end the game with about 100-150 AD and AP. But I always rush Umbral, Morello, and if enemy team has alot of shields Ill build serpents. I build her more as utility and debuffer, still get 1st or 2nd on dmg, esp when my ADC is trash. I have always said AD supports have an unfair advantage with Umbral. It either needs to be changed to work with both AD and AP, Make an AP version, or remove it. AD Supports have too much vision control when they have it. Not to mention if other roles build it too.

Being a support main since season 3, tho agree with some points in the vid I don't think it do them justice. 1. Aside from tank, poke & enchanter, there's another class of sp and that's fighter/assassin, with pyke, pan and sett. They were the true loser of this patch. 2. While true that Brand and Zyra high damage output make them a good candidate for poke sp in the this tankier meta, but you still have to taken into consider the fact that the adcs are changing too. Prior to this, jinx, aphe and caith dominate the scene with their high range and late game scaling, but now, people are playing lucian, trist, samira, kaisa,.. close range hight burst adc which usually pair with enchanter to negate your poke or tank engage sp to all in the moment you take one step too close. And don't even talk about the ridiculously exspensive build patch, which leaves them behind on powerspike for majority of laning phase unlessyou get kills early on. 3. Zilean as a sp sounds good on paper but doesn't really do much in game, unless you otp him. His bombs not only hard to land, but also doesn't do much to poke out the tankier enemies, hard to land cc and a general lack of peeling make him and the adc paird with a couple of easy targets to jungler prior to lv6. A champ that i'd personally find more suited for his sspot is Lulu, the general balance toward healing and shielding generaly doesn't effect her playstyle since, that's not how she's played, it's all about her disprution abilities and insane peeling power. Not to mention the flexibility of hef kit, through the 7-8 years playing this game, i have never seen an patch that rendered her useless (maybe weaker than some op pick at the time but never unplayable) due to the fact that she can basially addapt her build to do anything other sp can. Finally, vel'koz defo does not deserved that high of a spot. While yes, his true damage negate the overall tankiness buff, you're not gonna proc that often in lane. The power of vel'koz as a sp in lane is not his true damage all in, that's only for the teamfights. His true power lies within his q and its ridiculously long range and safe poking tool, paring with a gaurantee comet hit due to the slow, that's your work horse for majority of the laning phase. Given the overall tankiness, paired with the fact people are playing for agressive duo in bot lane, he's not in a good place rn, been playing hom sp since day 1 of his release and has been struggling recently even prior to the patch due to the meta shift.

@@alemfejzic2354 playstyle mostly, but generaly i like to keep my option open. As a hook sp you're ride or die by the chance of you landing that hook while gets harder the higher you climb. Their stat lines are pretty garbage to make up for the hook and you can't really participate in extended team fight. If i'm looking for a pick/engage sp like that, i'd rather play alistar since he can survive and contribute, or Amumu with him being the strongest early game sp due to his double q. The reason why i pick enchaters is mostly they just happens to be strong rn. My mosy played sp are Vel'koz, Pan, Lulu, & Leona, as they're my confort pick and that matter more than playing the meta for me.
