Sir, I’m a student with a question: is this 1G as far as the network you’re running to make this possible? Considering your motherboard doesn’t have 10G Ethernet I thought it might just be a 1G network. Unless, do you have a 10G network because you used a PCI-e slot to install a 10G card? Honestly, I’m hoping you tell me this is just a 1G network because then I have serious hopes for the workstation I’m actively putting together (until I stall out on something like this and need further R&D lol). If you could respond?? I SINCERELY *thank you* 🙏🏼 You haven’t a clue as to what a lynchpin you’d be providing to my life, and my work. It would mean a lot.

Derek, yes it has a standard gigabit ethernet connection but there are two on the motherboard. While our edit suites are connected with 8-gigabit fiber we don’t need a high speed connection to this render machine. since 3-D rendering is done one frame at a time we don’t need a high-speed connection to this computer.

Did You have any problems with motherboard booting with 7 gpus? Did it work right off the bat or did you need to make some bios modifications etc?

How the heck is this even possible? Nvidia only Support 4 way SLI but 7 way SLI work!

Amazing man, i'm making this for render also with 7 GPUS, 3 Titan Maxwell and 4 GTX 980TI: Asus Z10PE D8 WS Socket 2011v3 2 Intel Xeon e5 2683v3 Crucial Premium memory registered 8 x 8GB Samsung 850 EVO Basic 500GB Super Flower Leadex 80 Plus Platinum 2000W Modular Cooler Master Hyper 612 V2 - CPU x 2 Thermaltake Core X9 LCS Negro - Caja/Torre D5 LAING Windows 10 Pro. Becoming mad with water cooling, can you help me pls? 1/ do you used the Laing D5 pumps? what do you think is better Dual loop, 2 pumps in series or 2 pumps in parallel? do you have any diagram? 2/ And for the multiple waterblocks connectivity, i first considered 3 Terminal DUAL Parallel 2-Slot, latter 2 Terminal DUAL Parallel 3-Slot, and the other GPU air cooled (software dedicated), but now seen your work... it's best a full 7 terminal? Any advice will be great, ty.
