Thanks for checking it out. Why I recommended this is because for each Digimon series, there was usually at least one of the Royal Knights or Demon Lords appearing, and so checking out the overall lore might be interesting to you. Ogudomon ... obviously doesn't have the "good" 😅. As for the X you keep hearing, it's a stronger form when given the X-Antibody (a boost). Also, Beelzebumon (the one on the motorbike) may be a Demon Lord, but he is the most beloved one by fans. He appeared in two of the series (Digimon Tamers and Digimon Xros Wars) and became an enemy but later sided with the protagonists. This entire thing kinda gives off an Index-y vibe.

My only disappointment in the shows is only one of the demon lords was used as a major antagonist and before anyone says anything about xros wars lilithmon was a joke in that series she might have been a antagonist but she wasn’t a main villain

Both Barbamon and Daemon were the main villains of two manga series. Only Leviamon never had a notable antagonist role.

leviamon, lilithmon, and demon were supposed to be antagonists in the cut arc of digimon 02. gatomon and patamon were also supposed to evolve to their mega level in that arc. but unfortunately all we got was a short appearance from demon which made no sense out of context.

This video doesn't show you how terrifying the demon lords are. Each demon lord scales above mega level digimon. An average mega level digimon ranges from planet buster to solar system buster and the demon lords scale above that to the point they're considered a legitimate threat to reality itself..........the Digimon world also take account of our world as well considering its a recurring plot point. So yeah.......a full power demon lord digimon is a threat to at least 2 sperate dimensions on its own lol.

Mega Level Digimon scale to Multiversal - Complex Multiversal at bare minimum. In V-Tamers 01 the power of a Mega could distort the Digital World and blow warps in space-time. In Ghost Game Megas have been said to not be merely Digimon that have gone past Perfect-level but god-like beings each possesing a world ( multiverse going by the inner world of Regulusmon and Canoweissmon.)

the demon lords are also multiversal in the sense that they exist in near infinite parallel universes simultaneously like yggdrasil. and when one version of a demon lord dies its power gets redistributed to its other copies increasing their strength. if only one version of each demon lord were to remain alive their powers would be nearly infinite. they can also travel freely between dimensions.

Lucemon is my personal favorite in terms of design and backstory thanks to Frontiers but I prefer Beelzebumon as a character thanks to his story in Tamers. Honestly Beelzebumon is the most popular of the seven lords.

2:45 weird Lucenon is supposed to be the strongest, despite the particular form only being ultimate level where every other demon lord is a mega level? That never made sense to me.

lucemon´s child form is already as strong as the weaker members of the royal knights because he is the strongest angel digimon. there are several digimon that are stronger than their evolution stage should allow like magnamon who is only armor level (same stage as adult/champion) but as strong as ultimate/mega level digimon. patamon´s evolutions are also one stage above where they should be in terms of power.
