Whoo! Coming out of the gate strong on this vid! Any time I can hype up Control I definitely will. One of my favorites of all time. So weird and awesome. Jusant was one of the biggest surprises for me last year. Not terribly challenging, but really immersive, beautiful, and surprisingly heartfelt. Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night is also fantastic for the Metroidvania fans. Another great list, Pam!

DOTT is still getting released? I LOVED that game growing up. It's everything you need from a point'n clicker. This one and the Monkey Island games ispired a whole bunch of amateur game makers to create their own thing in AGS. If you're looking for some amateur made point'n click games, you should check out some of the things that came fomr that community: The Ben Jordan games, 5 days a stranger and al the sequels and even a fanmade sequel to Loom. And yes I tried to make a game too, it's called Fribbeldib, but I eventually released it unfinished, because I needed to focus on different things.

Control is brilliant indeed, whether it's purely from the gameplay and art perspective or for the idea of playing as an incredibly powerful woman. Maneater is quite fun too. Its history is connected to the game Depth, which is an asymmetrical multiplayer game kinda similar to Dead by Daylight, though Maneater is a step up as far as the feel of playing as a shark and the crunchiness of eating others!

I guess I'm in the minority here, because Control didn't really hook me like I hoped it would. Maybe I'm no longer the audience for Remedy's games. Bloodstained's first boss was too difficult for me to beat, so I never finished that.

Lot’s of shorter games listed here.. Sometimes a 5-10 hour game is the perfect amount, and shows value in playing it through on Game Pass versus purchasing it outright, where you can get through it quickly and move onto the next thing. Not every game has to be a 50 hour slog, time spent ≠ quality!

Xbox Game Pass Ultimate is the best video game subscription service. That's also why I don't regret being an Xbox user and I have the Xbox Series console 😊 It makes me sad that there are Playstation users who criticize the service, even worse than some content creators alone to gain Playstation followers and fame 😞 What do you think of this Cannot?
