Know what’s sad? Even as a veteran cyclist. I constantly see fools on bikes expecting everyone to be wary of them. All the while being angry and vindictive when the opposing driver wasn’t even aware of what they’ve done. I’ve really had enough of seeing these type of riders. They make people like myself and others who are patient look bad.

@Q_N- Жыл бұрын
@@LK-dn2ms While I absolutely agree that bad drivers don’t deserve any sympathy. I do find it excessive to engage in an aggravated assault when you could just avoid them. Just the other day I was taking my family to the mall, and saw a guy lane split at break neck speeds. A car merging out onto the freeway nearly clipped him. He proceeded to slow down and flip the driver off. Instead of counting his blessings and continuing on his way. Just for the record, a bunch of people driving behind this biker, saw the whole thing. Several even honked at him for being an idiot. If we’re going to talk about “bad drivers” I’d say the amount of bad and reckless motorcyclists range in far greater numbers. Whether you agree with me or not, if you ride, you should acknowledge that most of our cycle brethren do stupid shit quite often. I’ve had my fair share of unnecessary aggravation during my teen years, but I’ve learned if you’re on 2 wheels, don’t mess with a person behind a 2 ton vehicle.

But I think that's what contributes to the road rage. Cause while yes if a car driver makes "a mistake" is can end in death for us. All good points. We live in a cul-de-sac. On the 4th of July, I went for my first ride outta our development on my V Star 250 LCC with my daughter on her virago 650 Classic Cruiser. Went for like 3 laps around the development to warm up first. On the 3rd lap, a Fed-Ex truck was parked in front of my neighbor's house 3 doors down. We were approaching from the other end of the street. I slowed to 20MPH to see if he was going to wait behind the truck. In a blue dodge truck, early 2000's with wide chrome wheels. When I just got to the point of no return, I sped up to 25MPH to get outta the way quicker. He gunned it and tried to hit me. I had moved to lane position 3 to give as much room as possible on initial approach. Missed me by about 2ft! Same asshat that I had a run in with on the rt57 bypass in west Elyria, OH. This road rager must be stopped!

Best way to save your life and money is to get a single cylinder Royal Enfield. It will force you to stay on 55 mph roads, and is lighter than many other motorcycles. Probably best to not buy used, since previous bad maintenance is more of a risk compared to a car. Pay extra attention to anyone in a bigger vehicle turning left, where you drive on the right side of the road like the US.

I've been thinking of getting a bike. Had a CBR 125 as a kid, where I live we get a1 licence, 11kw max power at 16, A2 at 18 with 5 driving lessons, two theory hours or a driving test. Haven't been riding in a long time, couple of times abroad or a dirt bike. I'll have to do the license improvement from A1 to A2. Full A which has you drive any bike that is just road legal, have to have years of experience. These new 300-600cc bikes are very impressive sometimes, like the new Duke or vitpilen/svartpilen 401

I have decade+ experience driving BMX doing flips and whatever you could imagine and during all of that you only look and group ur body to have a nice smooth landing and whenever i hear about if you keep looking long enough one direction then the bike starts going that way automatically… ive tried/tested everything and I just cant see how is that THAT important… also when im driving i use peripheral vision instead locking down my focus on one specific place… im not saying im experienced driver i might have only 1500hours of experience. Can somebody go more into details about that and maybe give me so imperical knowledge/experience where you actually realised that… F*ck this is very important. Thank you! Also I live in Vietnam where i almost never see even 100km/h on my spedometer. Yamaha MT-07.
