Buying a stock is easy, but buying the right stock without a time-tested strategy is incredibly hard. Hence what are the best stocks to buy now or put on a watchlist? I’ve been trying to grow my portfolio of $260K for sometime now, my major challenge is not knowing the best entry and exit strategies... I would greatly appreciate any suggestions.
@Nemo-yn1sp3 жыл бұрын
I'm always revisiting Joseph's videos. In this, the prediction for GOOD is $22, today 11/2/21, it's $22; PBA, as predicted, $33; I also have O & MAIN, used AGNC for a stepping stone. I learned (and continue to learn) from this channel and in the last 15 months since this was made, have built a dividend/growth portfolio that's now paying $629/month and growing. I'm 65 this month. I'd not have enough to live on in my old age if I didn't how to use my money this way. Much gratitude.

@@mikejackson3619 I don't remember what it was then. Currently collecting $11088/year in dividends/distributions with an original investment of about $137K. I'm down about $4K right now. That's a little over 8%.
@Nemo-yn1sp2 жыл бұрын
@Neil Stewart Close. I think I was at about $94K then, but now I'm at $11088/year on an original investment of about $137K. APPL is my top position with a very small dividend, so it brings the average down, however, it's been good for long covered call premiums (not included in income total).

AGNC 10.72% m-reit GAIN 8.38% bdc SJR 4.87% Canadian utility GOOD 8.17% c-reit PBA 7.51% oil transport MAIN 7.74% bdc O 4.88% c-reit You might want to pick one out of these seven stocks for your portfolio, but not all seven. Their price charts are practically clones of each other... highly correlated... big drawdowns in the C-19 crash and not enough price appreciation to recover.

I don't know man, I'd agree if we're comparing companies like GOOD, MAIN & GAIN... maybe just choose 1 of those. But like the SJR & PBA are in very different sectors.

Explanatory video, one that folks really need to watch. I’m 50, retired a while at 45. I have 35% of my capital invstments in an IRA, 25% in index funds, and the balance spread across other investment accts, in cumulative of over $ 5M. I receive income from my rental properties too. Zero debt and all is going accordingly. My financial consultant has been patient and has done a wonderful job for me throughout the years.

Living below ones means & investing before retirement especially can be difficult but it's necessary. I've made lots of money mistakes in the past but I don’t regret it as I've learnt from them. Now I’m just focusing on the s&p 500 and waiting for a few years.

My favorite monthly dividend so far is CLM Cornerstone strategy Value. I got it a few months ago just under 10 bucks at a 21% yield. Its basically similar to an etf that invest in growth and dividend stocks including ( Microsoft Google Amazon JPM CSCO MA Berk.B HD JNJ and VZ). Best thing about CLM is that it doesn't have any expense fees. A $10 stock while you get back 18 and a half cents per share MONTHLY isnt bad.
@orlandomontes784 жыл бұрын
That is the one I hold. But as per this gentleman, the end closed funds are not good. The dividends are coming down but for now 18 cents for a $10 share is not bad in my dumb opinion. He is the expert. Because of being scared I did not buy the dip in March.
