It doesn't matter to me if a company pays monthly or quarterly. As long as I have invested in enough companies collectively that adds up to the amount I want to live off of each month. I'm good!
Monthly is great, but I prefer the higher dividend. My plan is a mix of both :)

However those high dividends still need to fall within the structure of my investments. I don't need stocks of companies that are weak that i have to constantly worry about the solvency/insolvency of the company itself so these companies need to have strong balance sheets and be able to be held for the long term. Unfortunately, PSEC's dividend has consistently decreased. 3/3/2010- .41: 6/28/2010- .10 and went down again 2/25/2015 to .08 and currently at .06. :/

Why don't you check the yields on these stocks now in May 2021, not even a month later. Most are not even paying a quarter of what they did at the time of this video.

I saw that too. Dividend yields have come down quite a bit to under 5 % range.

Interesting video... DOING MY Do DILIGENCE. I've been following for a couple of years. I like to go back to see what kind of track record you have .. Several of the stocks talked about in this video stopped paying dividends. A few are on the verge of being delisted. A good reminder that this market can turn fast. And Don't CHASE Dividends.... Have you thought about making videos of recaps of stocks that you brought to the attention of your following?
