4 years later, I've watched all of Kurt's videos and seen the evolution, but this video remains my favorite. Why? Because I felt like I was there. It had the feeling of getting a haircut on a sunny Friday afternoon. Looking out the window gave me a glimpse into what living in that neighborhood is like. I'm fascinated with Bulgarians shaking for yes and nodding for no. I knew this in advance before visiting but it still led to some confusing situations. Something was wrong with the room we stayed in so we asked the host to fix it. After doing so, she asked if it was done okay and I nodded my head. She became annoyed because she thought I meant no. I explained that we shake for no and nod for yes, and we had a good laugh about it. She was lovely, Bulgarians are nice people. Haven't met a single bad person in Bulgaria. ❤🇧🇬

It's not the same price, $7 is a lot cheaper than in Germany. A simple haircut in Germany is typically in the range of 12-15€, I would say closer to 15€. The haircut prices went up in the last years.

I am bulgarian, and I have black eyes and dark blonde hair, but my grandma has light blonde hair and light green eyes.
