I would only give you one humble suggestion: use empty or dummy shape layers instead nulls as parents. Because after a while many nulls in your project will increase your ae file size unnecessarily unlikely the shape layers.

@@motionbyscott ahh, it's not a big deal, I love your editing style, it's rare to find complex animations with only few layers, I'm previously working aura gradients all by using effects and it's getting laggy too, after watching your videos i found the power of layers styles, it's changed my workflow forever, I'm so glad that i found this channel, huge respect and keep growing 💗🙏

I would use a different title « 7 mistakes you (probably) do in your workflow ». There is nothing exclusively related to AE practice in your examples. You could do the same video about indesign or Blender :)
