Persona, nier, gravity rush, nioh and horizon alone should be enough to say 2017 is an amazing year to own a PS4 going on only its exclusives. Add on RE7 and Sniper Elite for multi console and remastered collections of kingdom hearts and danganronpa, it is fair to say PlayStation is on fire. And then if you also have a switch with Breath of the Wild, then you are basically in gaming Nirvana at this point

Trueman Being The fact that Horizon has been repeatedly compared to The Witcher 3 in a positive way should be a testament to how good this game is. I love The Witcher 3, and when I saw the reveal trailer for Horizon during E3 2015, I wanted it instantly. The reveal of the ruins of a modern city, combined with the swelling of the theme at the end of the trailer gave me hardcore chills. Guerrilla Games has crafted a masterpiece.

DEMONIK DARKNESS Gravity Rush Remastered is on the PS store for the PS4, and it's a freaking awesome game. I think it's worth it to play it before you play the sequel, you will grow to love Kat and the other characters more.

My goodness I completely fell in love with Nier Automata, the story is incredible and intense when everything starts to fall in place! Moments in the game have completely left me speechless, the gameplay is incredible and pretty dam open world. Everything I could ask for is in this game and I know this sounds real bias too but still, to anyone reading this give the game a go, you won't regret it! And also PlayStation access you guys have to do a video on just Nier Automata, seriously...

I love Nier: Automata. The story is great, I've had great fun finding the different endings. Combat flows really well and 2B and 9S interact very well with each other. Definitely one of my favourite games on PS4.

angeloneko19 Persona 4 Golden for PSVita is a must play as it takes the PS2 version of the game and makes it better. If you have a PS3 you can play Persona 3 FES, or if you have a PSP still Persona 3 Portable - and no, you dont have to know anything about the previous games to understand the story

I can’t remember a game like horizon zero that hooked me right at go.. the story, the characters, the scenery, the music, the combat which not only is smooth and exciting but the best part is that each machine has its own weakness and strength and it makes you have a plan before attack. In t days I had put over 40 hours in this beautiful world and I am barley half way. This will be a game that will always be on my console waiting for me to log in hours..

Horizon zero dawn was a fun game, but I didn't think the story was that engrossing, way to predictable and cliche if you ask me, also I thought it was a bit too short, but a great game nonetheless. As for me, my GOTY is most definitely Persona 5, there is literally not one negative thing to be said about that game, at all. Most fun I've had with a game in years.

CJ Angelo I've only played four of them: Persona 3, 4, 5, and Q on the 3DS. None of them have let me down, they are all stunning games with literally no negative to them at all, unless you're one who dislikes turn based combat. 4 is definitely worth playing, I'd suggest Persona 4 Golden though, if you have Ps Vita. (It has far more things to do, a lot of fantastic additions and upgrades.) but honestly, 5 is a fantastic start too. 5 is by far my favourite in the series now. The graphics are quite amazing, gameplay is practically flawless, no issues there. Story is one of the strongest and most interesting in the series yet. All the characters are like-able and relatable (at least relatable to myself.) I could not recommend this game enough. If you have a PS4, which I assume you probably do if you watch this channel, get the game. You can add me as well, if you'd like.

HZD is by far my GOTY. The narrative was so special, and such an allegory of our real human condition. The soundtrack is utterly amazing too. All of the games I've played this year are amazing, but that one takes the cake. Absolutely loving Nier and Andromeda too. Still have to beat Nioh!

darkwzrd4 I never finished one of them too but I never finished because I bought dark souls 3 and bloodborn just recently (they are the first games of this kind I played) and they are hard but I pits hard to finish them when you have breath of the wild and the witcher to play too

Only game on this list I've been able to get is Neir Automata so far. Haven't even touched it since I've been preoccupied with BoTW. My brother's probably gonna platinum it today or tomorrow though. Same with Yakuza 0 actually. Any way my list is a bit different. I preordered Horizon thinking I would be hooked on that game until it was finished, yet atm I'm still only finished with the first tutorial open world area. A couple weeks before release I had a spare $20 on PSN and decided against my previous better judgment to get BloodBorne since I was never able to get into the souls games but I liked the theme and atmosphere of BB. Less than 3 weeks later BB was finished and I had started on DS1. Beat than and played through DS2 and am now at the Ringed City on DS3....I wanna play Horizon but god damnit I can't stop with FromSoft's games. :(
