Even though the main game has been out for a while Witcher 3 GOTY is available for around £20 and it's totally worth it. I would argue it's the best game to come out on the current generation. Pretty much flawless in every department

Rob's feelings about FFXV are my feelings about FFXV. Even though I got it on its release date I've only recently started playing it, and I've become so immersed. Eos is massive in ways that other FF worlds were not, and the camaraderie between the mains really does bring it all home for me. Whether it's Prompto's hilariously relatable selfies or cruising around with the bros blasting music from previous entries, they really do feel like my second group of friends. Also, the endless side-questing is real. I don't know if I'll ever figure out the whole story because I spend hours on hunts, but it's still amazing anyway!

PlayStation Access I'm on Chapter 8...of my second playthrough. My first was 67 hours, at lvl 78 IIRC, and I got the platinum trophy before starting my second playthrough. And I never get platinum trophies that quickly. FFXV has far exceeded my expectations, which, granted, were not that high until just a few months before the final release. Pro tip, do as many side quests as you can up until you have to turn them in, get the meal from Wiz's Chocobo Farm that increases EXP earned by 50%, THEN finish every side quest you can and use the Galdin Quay hotel, and see them levels rise!

Agree completely about FF XV. The characters and game jumped almost instantaneously to tie with XII and frankly it's giving it a run for its money too. I'm maybe halfway through because I'm doing my Final Fantasy staples: level grinding and side quests. I've been forced to take a break from it because of travel and I'm missing it too much. Dr. Pheel I've seen the main story beat in as little as 19 hours, took me 30+ though. so unless you do all the side quests (which are quite uninteresting) you won't be playing it for a really long time. Still a good game tho

Funnily enough, I already have to of the games in this list. Titanfall 2 is just one the best shooters of all time. Mecha & first person shooting combat, what more do you need? Final Fantasy XV is the game that finally reminded me what RPGs were like in the days of yore. Reminded me of my time of power leveling through FFX through the night like a madman. I haven't owned a console since PlayStation 2 and even only mostly played rhythm games and that Harmonix karaoke game. Most of my tweens to late teens was played on a launch model PlayStation.
