The biggest problem with BMW touring bikes is overheating in high temperatures due to excellent Aero protection. The factory options are always the best, i have never heard of an aftermarket motorcycle Windscreen manufacturer that has a million dollar wind tunnel in their premises, that somehow improves on factory. Custom ear plugs solves 99% of motorcycle Windscreen deficiencies. I am going back to standard Windscreen, after reluctantly listening to a respected tester on a long term test on a wunderlich l Windscreen over 5k plus miles.
