I tend to believe that broken marriages run in a family. It’s a spirit. If you’re from such a family, it would be wise to start counseling early.
@adeolasaba20003 жыл бұрын
And prayers to avoid the familiar ancestoral pattern that want the force of broken marriages to continue down the line Matthew 12:,43-45 KJV [43] When the unclean spirit is gone out of a man, he walketh through dry places, seeking rest, and findeth none. [44] Then he saith, I will return into my house from whence I came out; and when he is come, he findeth it empty, swept, and garnished. [45] Then goeth he, and taketh with himself seven other spirits more wicked than himself, and they enter in and dwell there: and the last state of that man is worse than the first. Even so shall it be also unto this wicked generation.

So true. Marriage is really hard especially when you both start to grow individually and at the same time. Different goals and expectations start to change and if it's no more aligned together, then there is breakdown in communication. Sad that man African men don't want to do counseling with their spouse.
@nadinelubs3 жыл бұрын
You are so right… the journey gets harder the longer you’ve been with each other, trying to fulfil your own ambitions, no togetherness, lack of purpose on what joined you in the 1st place. Fr my experience, separation & reconciliation without dealing with the root cause will still land a divorce… i’m about to let go… but still learning fr all pastor is teaching. What’s the point of counselling when the other party refuse to do it? Anyway pastor K. Thank you sir… key points that reminds us that money is not everything👍
@MVPMoe4ever3 жыл бұрын
@@nadinelubs Yea both parties have to be willing to go to counseling but the problem is, one partner does not see a problem so marriage stand at a stalemate. Everyone just living until it crashes. Pastor K and Pastor Mildred perspective from the woman side has definitely helped me personally to work on myself and communication methods as well. I pray we all continue to learn and improve. Excellent teachers.

Pastor,may God continue to empower you and strengthen you in this area of marriage. I have been married for 6 years plus now and I still listen to you and Pastor M like I’m a single lady. Why do I do this? It’s because I NEVER HAD GOOD EXAMPLES OF MARRIAGES “INCLUDING MY PARENTS” AROUND ME WHEN GROWING UP. I promised myself that I must marry RIGHT AND MY MARRIAGE WILL NOT FAIL. My Hubs and I are continually working on our marriage every day! Are we happy? Yes but we deal with issues while maturing every day

Hi there. You are doing very nice work indeed in teaching. Now, I just want to point out that the church is also playing part in the increase in the number of divorces in our society. The church is not about its leaders, I am talking about the entire church of Jesus Christ. Principles you teach must come and start from our households. They should be ingrained in our daily culture if we want to have happy marriages. I have observed people getting married for the wrong reasons such as age. Many women are pushing marriages to happen before they reach menopause. This is just one reason, there are many more. I think we should also start teaching parents how to guide their children before they make that fatal mistake. I am submitting the case and I will keep following this page for learning, I prefer to be a student for life. Cheers! Be blessed!

Point number 6 for me is so true. I believe it is so crucial. Unfortunately people overlook it thinking time will make it better. It really doesn’t and even when we change to accommodate our differences if it is only one person doing the compromise it eventually becomes burdensome.

1. Celebs are human: be compassionate 2. knowledge & genius in career or business does not translate to success in marriage. 3. Money doesn't necessarily equate successful marriage 4. Money influences relationships- sense of entitlement, less patient 5. It takes a lifetime to know a successful marriage 6. Cracks & Issues should be tackled heads on. 7. Principles of marriage don't respect status or moods!

I think the West or most developed countries have the belief that marriage is a CONTRACT instead of a COVENANT. So, as long as couples Subconsciously still see Marriage as a CONTRACT, the possibility of DIVORCE is inevitable. Bill and Melinda Gates’ Marriage was built on a contract not a covenant. When I found out that Melinda Agreed that Bill Gates could spend some weeks on holiday with his Ex, every year, I knew that was one of the cracks from the unset of the marriage. Thanks Pastor K, always on point with your Teachings. Gracias Muchos.

Patience is the key thing. Like you said when a person is rich, he or she will not tolerate anything from the partner. Patience is the fruit of the Spirit, even a rich man doesn't have Patience to serve God. Tolerance and patience is what every man or woman needs inorder not to be a victim of divorce. Not everyone living together is happily married.
@nontoncube84503 жыл бұрын
I don't think it's about the person being rich. It's solely about the person valuing money over the relationship. It's not like being rich is a curse.
