We know for a fact that Mr. Combs faces a very serious RICO indictment (Federal Case) and that 120 people came forward (Civil Cases that will be held individually). At this point, we don't have any names and much of the evidence was not made public.

The Sixth Ammendment to the Constitution of the United States of America grants the right to a speedy trial. Apart from that, given the high volume of supposed evidence that has to be reviewed (64 devices with massive storage), it probably could 'undermine' the prosecution. Less time, more pressure.
