The Takeshita vs Cartwheel match was an unexpected slice of cake - they played off each other so well. Love the rope move Cartwheel did into a leg sweep, Takeshita is so committed in not just his move set but his reactions. Like the show of respect at the end too. (now I want cake, dammit)

Just watched the match. Very frustrated with the way AEW edited it so that it would do a cut right in the middle of Cartwheel's moves. The people in the Cow Palace were going nuts during this match, and it didn't come off nearly as good on KZbin as it did in the arena.

Jack Cartwheel brought his A-game here. I love how he evaded Takeshita's attacks, but Takeshita kept catching him on the rebound, simply because he can tank Cartwheel's offense. Good end sequence where Cartwheel getting too flashy backfired on him. Dude should be brought back for more matches.

This was a really great episode of AEW Dark, I loved the match card, seeing Skye Blue was great as well seeing her pick up her second wing it this week. The debut of Jack cartwheel was really good, his maneuvers during the match really fit his wrestling style. And as for Willow I hope she can have a ROH world women’t championship match at the next ROH event, although I am wondering if Mercedes Martinez is still with AEW because from my understanding she never got her rematch after losing the championship.

AEW is a one dimensional entity. They do not build whole stories, they give a single piece, present a competitor and let it ride. Prime example, the worst, most illogical stable in Recorded wrestling history, the JAS. Jericho burns the #1 stable in AEW, the Inner Circle to the ground. AEW turns around and introduces JAS. No back story about how the members were related, where thy came from. No explanation about how a sports entertainer is different from a Pro wrestler. They ignore every thing, obviously believing, "the fanbase will let it pass"
