I was a technician many years ago when the top tech was electronic ignition and krypton analysers were massive. So I am appreciative of how far technology has moved on and the skills needed to rectify faults these days! Great videos. Keep up the great work. From a fellow Scot down south.

I had a similar issue as your first van on my 2008 Nissan interstar this winter. I followed the same process as you and replaced the abs pump which did not solve the problem. I evenly found the actual problem which was the female connectors between the loom block and the abs unit were loose and not making good connections.

we had this exact same reading from the same model van last week and after trying 2 aftermarket wheel speed sensors and then a dealer one with no results we compared the original sensors with what was being supplied and found they were very different, we took the part number from the original sensor and got a dealer one again and were told by the dealer this would be wrong for the vehicle as they are sided (which is nonsense) we fitted the sensor and it worked fine, so check the part number of original...

Great videos, how would you have diag the Abs sensors on the Nissan if you you were the first to look at it
@mrautoservices73548 ай бұрын
Typically if it was both rears the chances of both being faulty are slim. I would have done the wiring load tests and put a sensor simulator on them to see if live data picks up the info

With a bulb like that, is there a danger of overloading a circuit? Would an LED not be safer? I always worry I'll fry something (no oil needed)!
@mrautoservices73548 ай бұрын
The circuit was disconnected from the vehicle side. Depending on the type of circuit you can use different current loads Leds draw very minimal current which is why higher current/load is needed for true figures Cheers, Ryan
