I didn't expect this from you, but it was a welcome surprise, lol. The first Tony Hawk's Pro Skater game was a HUGE part of my childhood. I played that game so much that I became really good at it. Unfortunately I never got to play any of the following THPS games for some reason (probably because of things changing in middle school and high school). Hopefully I'll be able to get a console and play some of the other THPS games. Edit: I think I did actually play THPS2, because that Venice level seems really familiar. That was a fun level.

the reason why Bob Burnquist wasn't in THPS3 was because he was in X games skateboarding which came out around the same time, and realistically Bob was HUGE at the time and deserved his own game, good for bob for getting the bag.

Activision truly astound me. They almost killed the series with Ride, Shred and Pro Skater 5, finally put some effort into 1+2 and it revives interest in the series in a big way...and they cancel 3+4 that would be similarly successful because of merging Vicarious Visions with them. I think enough of a fuss has been made about it it'll probably still happen someday. I'd love to play THPS4 with the NPCs fully animated, or THPS3 with spine transfers (to name a couple).

I swear to Gaia Ryan Sheckler was in the series before that. There were a ton of secret characters you can only play as if you named your Create A Skater something in the oringals. For example naming a char Lara or something would turn them into The Tomb Raider herself. They didnt have special tricks, but they were as close to the chars/people as you can get. And Sheckler was one of them. You could also play as Joel Jewett himself this way in THPS2.
