I always saw the faces when I opened them and thought a certain mod I was using, was mixing the textures never realized it was intentional.

The bright version of the mining light also decrease the enemy's ability to detect you in the dark when you point it at them, it works by maxing out the difference in light from where they're standing to where you're hiding, you can go from caution to totally hidden by just turning on the bright light and pointing it in their eyes 😂

I too remember this being an option. I did NOT get confused with the mod, since I played this DLC for the first time on Xbox 360. I was really confused when a friend of mine brought up this mandela effect thing where people are falsely remembering this, I was just like "but it is an option?"

I don't understand why the flashlight on the armor you get after completing dimas memories in far harbor, the flash light does not turn on, it's so disappointing

I might be misremembering but I think when 4 originally came out the mining helmet was also the only light source that didn't affect stealth

Works the exact same om 76 an it has one on the excsvstor power armor suit

I never liked the mining helmet light and i always find a military helmet very soon after so i rarely wore them on my characters.

Just upgrade it to the brighter light. That is the only good option if you want to wesr it.
