A fascinating piece of film. Many thanks for sharing. I didn't notice a date on it anywhere. do you know when It was made? I only ask because right at the end the LM still has a contact probe on the "ladder leg"; and the sudden engine throttle back doesn't happen at "contact light on".

It's prior to Apollo 9 as there aren't any RCS plume deflectors on the decent stage, just the original (and insufficient) black protection arcs.

I miss the serious grown up commentary from adult engineers of the 1960s. Todays Spacex launches sound like a highschool beer swilling party

Spacex had a more grown up sounding announcer but it appears they've gotten rid of him
