I was trying to remember where I heard The Gauntlet before becuase I play with Battle music off and only recently started going to Wolf Den even vaguely often, and I think it also plays in Treasure Dungeons. Specifically the Stormblood-Era ones, IIRC. I remember cuz it shares a melody with "Melt" the HW generic Battle song that I heard a lot before I turned mount music off. (Though Treasure dungeons also count as "Missable" in my book using your definition so just because it has another place you hear it doesn't mean it isn't.) Still an interesting list of songs, though I love how you broke it into categories and seemed to pick your favorite from each.

Thank you! My goal was indeed to have one track representing a missable part of the game. That's also why the tracks I didn't "pick" but still used are fairly rare as well! A lot of that stuff ends being used in the Endless and Treasure dungeons, so I am not surprised you heard it there :')

I never realized the city-state themes in the treasure dungeon were from Legacy and different from the music we have now! I gotta go get those. Those are great. Like a lot of people here, I originally came here by watching a Pokémon video and wondering what else you do. I know it was a short foray, but your FFXIV videos are also really HQ!

From the Ashes DOES play outside of Coils! It plays in the level 87 Endwalker Cutscene "Thou Shall, Live, Die and Know" which I won't go into spoilers but it is VERY fitting that it also plays there. There is where I first heard it till I did Coils. I ACTUALLY KNEW ABOUT THE NAMELESS GAME, I didn't think there was fucking remix of the main theme in FFXIV. God that is SUCH a deep cut. What a cool horror game, EXTREMELY underrated.

Tid bit! If you like Soken's "From the Ashes" The mount "Bennu" from the online store plays this exact song. the price is a bit annoying especially being the blue version ,the Xu, you can obtain in game. Many would rather just get the free one but you miss out on the epic music and some are okay with that. Making "From the Ashes" even more of rare song.
