Hey hey,
Ironically, uploading this as I reach my 8th month locaversary but here is all the changes month 7 brought. Inching closer and closer to the 1 year mark and I couldn't be more excited. I hope you all enjoyed this 7 month DIY micoloc update and that you all are continuing to care for your locs in these weird times. @@MeccahMedia My hair literally looks just like yours. Same length as well, I have about 329 micro twists. I started them back in April, This has been a wonderful journey, no more stressing about my hair. Even wash day which I do once a week only takes me about 10 minutes and that’s because I condition. I don’t do my own retie though, I found a sister loctician who does my hair. I have gone to her four times. I am so excited to see how my hair will look by next summer. I’m not gonna know how to act once it gets longer 😂😂

Ooh we’re loc twins that’s awesome! The ease of maintenance is definitely my favorite part too lol! Like dealing with my fro was SO stressful in comparison and I’m starting to not even mind doing my own reties but I can’t even imagine how nice it is to have a loctition help. 😌And same I’m gonna act a fool when it really starts growing 🤣

They are definitely getting thicker. Just a suggestion maybe change your part, to minimize the appearance of the front being short.

Thank you! I have played around with a side part but so many areas are short that maybe a deeper one would do the trick! ☺️

Honestly not much, only in the places where my hair is super soft like my nape or super short, but it’s maybe 2-3 locs total that have unraveled.
