I wanna talk about why I almost cut my microlocs after hitting four years loc’d. From chemical damage, to bad cuts- experimenting almost got the best of me. Now, I’m prioritizing healthy loc growth and putting down the dr*gs (AKA dye). Even though the resulting color form the baking soda hack has left me with uneven color, I’m embracing it. MAte ... just leave your locs alone and they will flourish. I do the bare minimum and I am in awe how Chia (my locs) are showing out and growing and thinking like crazy. beautiful locs ... loc it , love on it, and leave em alone.
