I have an idea for a returning monster for wilds. Sunbreak may have started a trend with Frontier monsters appearing in the mainline games, a monster that would be perfect would be Akura Vashimu, it just fits so well in the Windward Plains. And the tail mechanic where you have to use both blunt and slicing weapons to cut it off can be done solo now, because you can just switch between your blunt and slicing weapons. And Capcom could reclassify Akura Vashimu to Temnoceran. Because Scorpions are arachnids just like spiders

Lalabarina has paralysis, ajarakan had blast, and rompopolo has sleep and/or poison. I think Rajang needs to come back in the expansion. I like the idea of monkey hunting, so i’d at least like to see copper blangonga.

Has it actually been confirmed by footage Ajarakan does blast and Rompopolo has those status' I don't recall seeing that anywhere in the footage they've shown or on the website. If it's leak related I don't follow that and try keep that away from the channel.

@@NovaBushidoIt’s not leak related. You can see in the 5th trailer rompopolo emits both a deep purple gas, but also a lighter blue gas. Both of these are signs of poison and sleep at the same time, but it’s definitely one or the other. Ajarakan can be seen tossing boulders that explode into sparks and rubble. He’s also covered in a magma-like substance, which could definitely be fire, but seeing the black flame being a primarily fire related monster, i’d bet ajarakan is a blast monster.

I'm hoping they bring Molten Tigrex back. They brought back Lucent Nargacuga in Rise Sunbreak so hoping Molten Tigrex can make a appearance in Wilds. He needs a updated redesign like Tigrex and Brute Tigrex in World Iceborne. It's such an underrated and a hated monster but to me it's such a cool monster and the design is awesome. Just imagine his game mechanics and what they can do with it. Its weapons and armor sets were cool looking/awesome looking too. They were always my favorite and Molten Tigrex is one of my favorite monsters in my top 10 list.

Idk how much I wanna see dalamadur come back tbh, he’s great and I love him. BUT, considering how many resources it would take to develop I don’t think it’s worth adding in at least not for the base game. He’d be great as like the fatalis equivalent title update monster for the games expansion. That’s just my opinion ofc tho. On rajang, I’m at a crossroads. He’s fantastic and I love him and I think he’d fit wilds almost perfectly. Like imagine a handful of them walking around in an area it’d be sweat. Khezu is a million times less annoying to fight than Gigginox. With Khezu, I'm having a fun time and I find him very endearing and cute in a cute-ugly sense. Gigginox can rot in the depths, everything about him is annoying and I cannot fathom why people criticize Khezu but adore Gigginox when Gigg does the exact same things as Khezu but worse. Khezu my homie for life, Gigginox will spit in my soup and eat my newborn.

With the new hoard mechanic having seltas queen be the alpha of 4-5 seltases that she not only uses to combine with but also order attacks with would be phenomenal and improve her fight substantially in my opinion.

When i first fought rajan, i got my ass whooped, to the point i started hating his fight. Then he go easier and easier but the first fight persisted in my mind, so even in rise when i was abusing him, in my mind i was afraid of fighting him because of the first time i ever fought him, i hate fighting him. He deserves a break so when he does come out again, it will be fresh and hopefully i wont hate the fight again

Already deserved my like with Zamtrios... then also naming Seltas Queen and the amazing elder dragons of 4u. on the other hand personally i dont remember Giginox to be fun, but i was a scared child so who knows :D And for Rajang... yea i hate that guy, personally i dislike how he is so small, with so much movement and you are supposed to hit certain areas in certain phases... like im happy if i can even hit him how tf am i supposed to make sure i hit the right part, just like with Kirin your not safe anywhere in the same area with them and cant seem to hit properly so frustrating and we already got a good amount of Monkey like Monsters confirmed

I think Rajang should be reserved for higher rank/MR for it to be really a threat. World/Iceborne Rajang was imo the perfect version of Rajang. So relentless, aggressive, really tests a hunter to their max. Hopefully maybe a new subspecies or variant comes as well for Rajang

Of course zamtrios is on the easy side. He's only like on the level of a rathian, in the game's scaling. So he's lower on the totem pole than something like seltas queen. Zamtrios is really fun mid tier monsters, with as much personality as a low tier monster. We're likely getting subspeceis in the expansion, as usual for most of them, and I'd adore seeing tigerstripe. qurupeco needs to happne, he's to perfect for summoning herds of monsters and maybe summoning things away from you, to help him in another fihgt/to fuck with anotehr monster. So imagine like you're fighting something and suddenly hear its roar off in the distance and your target runs off. Qurupeco thinks he's just calling a monster for backup but you ride on your seikret after them. He should get one of the traits his subspecies has, for the base monster so both have it, that's being able to have 2 calls at once. In the old games normal qurupeco will only spawn with 1 call for a large monster that is RNG from his list of them but crimson can use 2 so sometimes he will summon 2 other monsters to the zone. give that to both of them so we can have chaotic zones of 3 monsters at once or have him call 2 monsters that turf war and use that to fly off. I would adore it if they used qurupeco again for introducing a new high tier monster, like deviljho, again. The more calls, the more monsters in qurupeco's contacts list, the better. The seltases need to return, they are such unique monsters. I need to see them back. I would also adore to see more bug like monsters. The ice switch axe, from the switch axe preview, looks very insectoid or crab like. Both those classifications need more monsters, crabs more so, because it's been almost 20 years since we got a new one that wasn't variation of the main 2. Bugs and crabs add so much variety and Wilds looks like it's trying to focus on pack behavior and other cooperative aspects of monster ecology so this would be perfect for that. You can't bring one without the other, we need both the seltas and his queen. I would also adore seeing desert seltas and his queen in the expansion. Give that subspeceis the redeption it deserves. Desert seltas being the most forgotten monster, in the popularity poll was criminal. The animation of her eating the seltas was pretty rare, I hope that's easier to trigger in future games. Gigginox has only been in MH3 and 3U, it needs to come back. I would also adore a new monster of this shape, with the wing arms. Too many people, old and new alike, think this skeleton is a trio with; tigrex, nargacuga, and barioth but it was never a trio since barioth and gigginox came out in the same game. I don't care if we get khezu again or not this time. Either have just gigginox or both, maybe give them a turf war. Fuck baleful gigginox, he's just "what if gigginox was more like khezu". Why in Gog's name wasn't he a sleep subspecies? Giggies are better zamites, they don't just go from tiny to normal small monster size, from consuming blood, they let go and spit poison on you. Imagine turf wars between zamites or giggis on large monsters: Swarming them and drinking their blood, as the monster is trying to shake them off. Oh rompopolo is definitely a poison monster, with him having the same classic purple gas. Maybe the tar explosions have a second status for him but he definitely has poison. Either of thsoe 2 final bosses would make amazing candidates for the final tittle update of the expansion, for Wilds.

I’ve been playing mh rise and sunbreak for the first time recently, and to me at least base game rise (sunbreak fixes this) has a serious problem with making its new monsters memorable. The only ones I really enjoyed are Tetranadon, Goss Harag, and the final bosses

Agree with everything but Gigginox. I don't even know why people like him over Khezu when he does the same exact things that Khezu does that they complain about (aoe spam, constant roaring, etc). The poison sucks, he's constantly on the ceiling stalling the fight, and his design just feels like a cheap Khezu copycat instead of going for something new. At least Khezu doesn't waste time while on the ceiling, he does his attack and jumps back down to continue the fight (and at least Khezu's smile is cute). Tri was my first game and I'd be more than happy to never see his birthing ass again.

Dalamadur was a cool looking monster but an awful fight. He did basically nothing for the entire fight except drop sky meteors while you wailed on him. He beamed once or twice then went back to doing nothing again. The problem with monsters that size is there's no middle ground. Either they attack constantly and leave nowhere to run, because of how big the hitbox is or they don't attack at all and they end up being snorefests like Zorah Magdaros.

Last thing I want to say is Rajang is the original invader. In Freedom Unite you go on a quest to collect berries in the desert. As soon as you pick your first one, in comes Rajang.

I would like to see Vaal Hazak in the new game. Or maybe a new variant, one that is water based, maybe a swamp design. It’s pretty easy to tell that Vaal Hazak was a water elder dragon. The scales and the pseudo jaw it has resemblance to deep sea creatures and the pseudo jaw has only been seen as a trait from underwater animals like hagfish. Or maybe a desert variant, using fossils from underwater monsters, maybe there could be a desert variant. Still, I would love to see Vaal Hazak in Monster Hunter Wilds.
