He has, canonically died at LEAST twice by this point (Room full of Barons of Hell in one of the original games, and prior to the start of 2016), only to ressurrect to continue the fight, WITHOUT being turned into a Zombie. And given that not only is he ripping zombies and demons apart with his bare hands, but it's also quite literally in his job description to kill everything from Hell (as well as prudent caution via lessons learned from previous titles), it's safe to say he NEVER HAD ANY CHILL. To explain Ripper Mode: Raiden's actual name is Jack, and when he was a child soldier people called him "Jack The Ripper" in reference to the killer due to how vicious he was at the time.

The game actually has different hair colors which give you buffs, and one of the hairs ( I think brown ) gives you infinite FC ( which drains as you are in Ripper Mode ). You can already see where this is going. Put on that hair color and now you can stay in Ripper Mode for as long as you’d like

Made extra terrifying by the grim reality in which nothing actually bleeds in the mind palace of wonderland but entering her powered form drenches her blade and eyes in a flowing blood as if some bits of reality are leaking into her mind and suddenly the lines boardering wonderland and real life become blurred. But then, she's not confined to an asylum's quarters, she's going about London! ...Then again, the guard didn't think she was a danger to anyone but herself, so it's possible that her violent actions only happened in her head, and no worse than her curses of insects (possibly the Caterpillar, almost certainly the wasps) and "the National Railway" (more likely the Infernal Train) were unleashed by her.

How about Splinter Cell Conviction? When Sam finds out that his best friend betrayed him(faking his daughter's death), he doesnt escape silently through the night like he always does, instead, while escaping, the game automatically marks enemies and allows you to execute them without filling up a meter. I know it was only at the end of a level but still, that rage moment has always stayed in my mind.

A little known fact about the Doom Slayer is that even though he can eviscerate anything that crosses his path with his bare hands he instead chooses to use guns 99% of the time to give his enemies a fighting chance. Otherwise he'd never feel the exhilaration that comes from slaying an opponent that actually has a chance of defeating him even if it only provides a minuscule challenge either way that you cut it or in the Doom Slayer's case eviscerate it limb from limb.

I've got one for you - Alice madness returns, Alice has a cool berserker mode known as Hysteria, a form of invincibility-styled berserk mode that changes both her AND her weapons into white and covered in blood, murdering monsters known as the Ruin, all in a greyed out landscape, with absolute zero chill for something named 'Hysteria'. Best part is this can be used when she's on the last of her health, and there's even a cosmetic outfit she can wear that activates Hysteria at any time regardless of her health. This isn't the first rage form in the american mcgee series, but it's the coolest one in the series

Ryoki from Senran Kagura Estival Versus goes pretty ballistic in her rage mode. She's dead, and she triggers it by touching her own halo, in which she proceeds to lose her s**t and go berserk, throw her normal weapons away and start bludgeoning people with her own coffin, which also has a gatling gun in it as well as missiles, making her ballistic state all the more literal. She's also invincible during the duration of it, except in the final story mission where you have to fight against her while she's in permanent rage mode.

I always get weird looks when I say I really like Raiden, but that’s because my first step into the Metal Gear rabbithole was Metal Gear Rising Revengeance, so how could I not like him? I’m too young to have played MGS2 back when it came out, so I never knew that he was some poor schmuck cartwheeling around naked. I always have to explain that I got familiar with Platinum Games fueled cyborg-ninja-Raiden and loved every second of it. Same as I like DMC: Devil May Cry. It just was my first DMC, that’s it. I’ve since played the others, except not DMC5 yet, and sure, now the reboot looks a bit odd in comparison and I prefer the main series games. Tbh I still love the reboot, I simply love the other games just a bit more. I found DMC: Devil May Cry because I liked the Combichrist soundtrack, and it gets me so pumped up every time that I’ll happily overlook all of the reboot’s flaws and love it anyway.

Buzzaxe Rampage of Krieg from Borderlands 2: instead of waiting an enormous amount of time(2 minutes, more than every other Vault Hunter) you can take damage to reduce the cool down, you regain health by killing and you scream even more about the psycho... psychosis. At later level you can even activate the Rampage when Krieg is on the brink of death getting even more bonuses(reduced suffered damage and increased inflicted damage) and getting a new use of your axe when you end. People mention Krieg and his Psycho Rampage from Borderlands 2, but for actual no chill you go for Release the Beast skill. Krieg changes into an actual Badass psycho, with overgrown hand and beastly voice and all that. I love it. Just like this video!

What, no super star from Super Mario Bros? Admittedly the original NES wasn’t quite able to render the look of sheer brutal rage on Mario’s face when he powers up, but the ease with which Mario proceeds to mince through his enemies whilst powered up tells us everything we need to know.

I don't know if it's necessarily a berserk mode, but I've always thought that werewolf mode in Skyrim is a good way to go from fighting an enemy to annihilating a whole army in seconds.

I think you forgot Terraria expert mode Eye of Cthulhu. In its second form it just spams the charge attack and gets less and less chill and goes more and more ham on the charge the less health it has. And this normally the First boss you fight other than King slime. Then there's enraged Planters which literally flies at you with zero chill and just gatlings seeds. Another Terraria boss that just flips out is Skeletron in daytime which can instantly kill you with his almost undodgable headspin attack.

I'm somewhat surprised that the two most angry Borderlands action skills were skipped. Brick "The Berserker" has an action skill where he just gets angry and punches things. Kreig "The Psycho" gets mad and pulls out an axe, where whenever he kills something he gets full health. Made even worse with the "Release the Beast" skill where if he uses Buzz Axe Rampage when below a third of his health he gets full health, gets bigger, and his right arm gets abnormally large, as does the buzz axe. Then again, after seeing some of this list I'm pretty sure these two were pretty tame in comparison.

Calamity mod has two beserk modes: rage and adrenaline, both with -100 chill, and they can both be on at the same time for ridiculous attacks with your weapons made with the carcasses of your enemies. Rage is filled by taking damage, and adrenaline fill automatically in boss fights but depletes when you take damage.

Since OXtra didn't exactly explain it, Raiden's "Ripper" mode is only in part related to the actual Jack the Ripper. In fact, "Jack the Ripper" was Raiden's original nickname when he was a child soldier, due to his real name being Jack and for him being absolutely brutal on the battlefield. Going "Ripper" mode is Raiden embracing the bloothirsty nature of his past self in it's purest way possible, even going so far as to turn off his pain inhibitors, so he feels all pain as normal. So yeah... very... VERY little chill. A few other no-chill "rage modes" for a possible follow-up video: -Kreig the Psycho's berserk mode action skill where he forgets his gun for an axe and can literally set himself on fire while swinging at enemies. -Devil Trigger - I think that's 'nuff said right there -Super Metroid's Hyper Mode from the end of the game... because nothing says rage mode than a supremely powerful beam cannon that one-shots everything but Mother Brain fuelled by energy siphoned from the baby Metroid who saw you as it's mother. You awoke the angry mother bear, Mother Brain... taste rage laser.
