More tutorial please!!! Davinci UI and its node based system is amazing, much better and easier than layers in after effects!

These are some of the quickest most comprehensive tutorials I've run into. You should definitely continue making them. I'm not coming from Premiere, I started my editing journey in DaVinci Resolve with 0 prior knowledge and its been a real challenge as there's not nearly as many tutorials available as there are for aftereffects/premiere.

Would 100000% love to see more tutorials for Resolve. Been trying to wrap my head around Fusion for awhile now. This video helped a lot!

MY GOD THANK YOU!!! I've been using Danvinci for about 9 months now, and when I try to find tutorials on how to use fusion people don't explain it, they just say "do this it'll work". This actually teaches me how I could explore on my own and try my own effects. Thank you so much!! Literally a lifesaver.

So so so so underrated video! It's always useful whenever someone (like you) can demonstrate not only how to use the feature, but apply in actual situation! This is very well designed! For someone who has been learning for 2 years, I find this very useful!

This is something I have been waiting for you to do for some time now. Why? I am a Davinci Resolve user who has always been familiar with Adobe AE. I have tried using Fusion to do some motion graphics similar to AE but Fusion is a bit different in how they do things (ex. Nodes, Timeline etc). So I gave up on trying to learn Fusion and concentrated on AE because it was easier for me to learn. Hence why I subscribed to your channel, so it is refreshing to see you start doing tutorials in Davinci. It would be great to see more of these tutorials. Thanks for all the help you have provided so far. Continue the great work!

Biggest thing I hate is using the key frame editor in fusion I'm used to copying key frames to several times over and pasting them and reversing them to quickly do an outro animation which is kinda painful in fusion I like it I think it has a lot of potential but still has a ways to go
@firesightstudios582311 ай бұрын
You can actually do this in Davinci, I think it's alt+click and drag, or ctrl+click after selected the keyframes

To add any shapes, use the shape nodes for vector shapes in Fusion, they work like vector shapes in Fusion like AE.

Thank you so much! Not many KZbinrs doing DR motion graphics tutorials that have clear instructions. This probably not yet brings you as much viewers as adobe AE tutorials...but really appreciate your time and effort helping beginners who choose DR over Adobe to save $$🤣.

This is great! I originally did everything on Resolve and argued with everyone that Fusion could do everything that After Effects can do. However, I work in sports so I need to do motion graphics for the video board displays in giant arenas. So my projects end up being dimensions like 8576x24 or 132x528. Davinci Resolve does NOT let you do projects with resolutions lower than 200x200. So I had to switch over to After Effects to do my sports motion graphics there. But Resolve is killer for editing, audio, and by far the best in color.

@Spenser Dickerson you can check the BlackMagic forums. This is known and it’s not a bug. I suppose they just assume that no one in the right mind would be doing videos in that small of resolutions.

I love your After Effects tutorials and now your Resolve ones are helping me so much too. I hope you make some more DaVinci Resolve tutorials since Resolve is easier to access.

I like Resolve for editing & color grading/correction. I prefer After Effects for Motion Graphics but I want to learn more about Fusion so I can do simple things like lower 3rds, titles, etc without having to go to After Effects and render it and bring it in, etc. For more involved motion graphics I would stick with After Effects and layers (partially because I have so many plugins and scripts for After Effects already) but I also see how Fusion’s nodes could maybe be better for compositing.

As someone who is still trying to make my way into the creative industry I find Adobe to be way too expensive. I have switched to Affinity for the main apps that I use, but I have always been a bit regretful over losing After Effects, knowing I can use this to do most of the same things is great to hear.

I've spent sooooo much time learning AE I can't imagine starting over to learn DaVinci UNLESS there is a good reason to. Is there anything you can do in DaVinci you can't do in AE? Once you learn it and it is substantially faster to use, that would be a good reason to switch too.
