This was actually very helpful. Thank you so much for making this. Just a few days ago, I had been getting pretty frustrated by DaVinci Resolve, and how I didn't know where I could find what. I managed to find vignettes, grains and some other effects, but I was in desperate need to find Pre-Comp. I have a small question: Does grouping the nodes make them work faster like Pre-comp does in AE?
@RyanOsborneUK8 ай бұрын
No. Unfortunately not. Check out the saver and loader nodes though. Sorta similar idea. You can run something out to a saver, which exports it as individual frames in a folder (go up to fusion in menu and hit “render all savers”) and then brings it into one node using the loader.
@NekoSamaIru8 ай бұрын

This was superbly focused. I work in photoreal VFX and I find myself always needing the puppet pin tool to animate people reacting properly to effects (car hits, bullet hits, punches, or recreating the body behind a paintout) Is there a function similar to the puppet pin tool in Fusion? Grid warp would not be a viable solution as the warp points aren't anchored to the element. Thanks!

Thank you! Appreciate that. I would recommend you take a look at the "Warper" node. Slightly different to puppet pin but makes for a good replacement because unlike the Grid Warp, the points are anchored to the element like you mention. I plan on talking through this in an upcoming video :)
