Beautiful and unique dishes! I'm thinking of doing your honey corn instead of the broccoli and cheese casserole I had planned. I love candied yams! My family doesn't like them unfortunately, so maybe one day I'll try that last recipe for another time.

Side dish I came up with 2 years ago: Everyone at Church asks for it when we have a pot luck. 5lb of Yukon Gold potatoes (cubed 1 inch or so pieces), 4 sweet potatoes (5lb of Sweet Potatoes if small) cubed 1 inch pieces. 2 separate baking dishes, Yukon gold, salt pepper, olive oil and some bacon grease, poultry seasoning, garlic to taste bake till fork tender. Sweet potatoes in other baking dish, Olive oil, butter, brown sugar 1/3 cup to 1/2 cup, Cinnamon 1 teaspoon, Chipotle pepper ground, 1/2 teaspoon, back till fork tender. Now mix the 2 in large baking tin and finish cooking. Serve. Very good sweet spicy and savory. A very big hit.

Great recipes as usual. My opinion on the cheddar cheese is that if you use sharp cheddar cheese you don’t have to use as much for flavor since sharp cheddar has a stronger flavor. I am already subscribed to the other channels you mentioned and they really great recipes too.

I'm with you on the cheese! The more, the merrier 😁 I've got to try these. But, what would you serve with the cornbread, since it is probably more on the sweet side? Like, I couldn't see my husband wanting it with the beans I have in the slow cooker.

I am new to your channel and I love it! I learn something new each time. How do you stay so small making such great pies. By the way when I bake my sweet potato pie I use both white sugar along with dark brown sugar. It is yummy! I am from the South but live in the Pacific Northwest, I made pies for friends when I worked. I make homemade cranberries with mandarins and almond flavoring it is sooo good, we have eaten this for years. Have you tried it? Blessings Cherokee

I saw this and thought-o, I already watched this..then I saw you had just posted this video. It made me laugh because in my family, the sides were the main attraction because Thanksgiving in both my mom and dad's families were like family reunions where all the families from further off (like Miami and Ohio) would all come for a visit and food would be made so we would get sides and desserts galore. I have never really cared for turkey so id just eat sides and no turkey.

I am a new subscriber to your channel. I have loved everything I have seen until I got to this video. You said that the sausage stuffing calls for 4 stalks of celery. Are you kidding? Do you know the difference between a stalk of celery and a rib of celery? Apparently not. I do not trust cooks who do not know the difference. Elvis has left the building.
