Hi Lucy, These are some great points, have been following your videos on Instagram from sometime and I really appreciate them as the points you have shared with us people have to take paid courses to understand these basic things, I believe there should be more videos created with some details on each part mentioned here specially like how to optimize the headlines and how to best use the featured section etc. Keep up the good work 👍 will be waiting for more good content.

Hi Lucy! Thank you for your amazing tips! Any suggestions what to add to my profile if I've been a stay at home mum for the last 7 years and am currently career switching into Tech? Thank you 😊

I'm not sure about the rest of your background but it could be seen that you're starting in Tech. Treat things a a clean slate. Structure your profile to focus on tech, why you like it, what value you think you can bring and start creating some content around any experiences you gain along the way

@@careergrowthwithlucy thank you! I thought so. My background is Hotelmanagement, so very different. But I do believe I bring some hybrid skills to the table.

Sorry, but most people cannot keep a log of case studies for the public aka a recruiter/hiring manager to view??? This would go against many company policies. I am unable to share most of the information I work on. The feature section seems unprofessional as we are now getting more like FB and other social media platforms. We do not need to see what people do on the weekends or with their families, it's not that kind of platform. So outside of work data/images that cannot be posted, not sure why LinkedIn is getting more like FB.

Seems like you may be doomed then NC 🤣 If you can't show what value you bring and nobody can make a judgment about your personality it's unlikely you're going to get selected. My advice would be to action as much as you can after all who would you invite for an interview...? Person A - Who's profile showcases proven results that you'd like for your business and who 'looks like' a nice approachable individual OR Person B - Who has a linkedin profile with noting to show (because there employers didn't permit it) and nothing about them otherwise. It's up to you.... I'm purely sharing how I've reviewed things in the past both as a recruiter and a hiring manager

If hiring managers don't even read most resumes, they are not reading all that info on your LinkedIn page.

You're correct...although do you know why they don't read most resumes?
