7 must know eight ball safety tips, playing too aggressive all the time can cost you frames and matches, but knowing when to pull up and to play safe will change that.
Also the safeties can be played on most pool tables.

The first 3 safeties as you call it would work for a beginner. But any experienced players those would be free pots.

Yes, but the whole point is percentages and anyone taking on these pots would be below 50-50.

@@MichaelScerri147 I used one of these today because of this video. I usually go for pot but thought it was an opportunity to test out a percentage play and worked a treat. I won the frame.

Love your philosophy of keeping it simple. I wrote half way down my cue some years ago the letters FCKIS,. Everyone asks what it means. It's simple, Focus, Concentration, Keep It Simple. I see it on every single shot. It ensures I have my cue always facing up in the same direction and reminds me if I ever struggle to stick to it

Personally this is your most helpful video yet mate. Most of my matches go to the black and this video talks you through how important it is to have a strong safety game and not to always try and force the win with a less than 50/50 pot. 🙌🏻👏🏻🙌🏻👏🏻

Great tips. Watching snooker always think of putting the black on the top/bottom cushion with maximum distance from cue ball. However generally east to get wrong. 😢

Wouldn't trust myself to play any of these lots of risk with them if you hit it slightly too hard or not hard enough games over. The one where you went down past the middle bag has to be perfectly played where you could just nick off it thin and leave black top cush and white on the bottom or somewhere near much more safer safety shot imo

First off, great videos, appreciate them. I think generally, i have found having a positive attacking mindset will win me more games than playing negative, i think there's nothing worse than playing negative and then seeing them pot the black when you had a chance to. But i do get the percentages play, like you said, if there's 100 on it or it's a crucial decider. Maybe I'll try these out in local comps. Out of interest, what would Marc Robertson do? And would you play different based on the level of opponent? Surely you can't leave a cross double to a top amatuer? To the shots. 1. Disagree with leaving the cross double. Most league players will be able to pot that. 2. Agree that is a hard shot to leave. But it's still pottable. I would argue it's still very to go for the cross double and leave the white on top cushion, preferably to the right. 3. I'm sorry, if a team mate didn't go for that, they'd be chastised. And you have left a long double which a good player would get it they have an easy safety back. 4. Personally, as you can tell I'm very attacking, I would go for the long double leave the white where it is and have a chance of potting it, if I miss then likely his is it will rattle out to a cushion, if I'm left to much it will slide up the side cushion, same place where you left it, and if I'm right too much then yeah I risk leaving it. Leaving it near the middle bag leaves an auto double. Agree not to just roll it up, distance is key. 5.Nicking it off leaves a double. I'd love to have a go at that if i had the chance to. 6. Maybe, I mean if the double is on, go for it I think, but can see an argument for that if you get good distance. 7. Is a cross double all day. I would feel very uncomfortable taking the black off cushion, if they can put a hand in the table then they can pot it. Whilst I get the percentages play, I would argue it's better to practice doubles and go for the game because even if you miss a cross double for example you can leave the white awkward. Anyway keep the good work up bud

If my opponent played these negative safety's against me, I would be buzzing that he let me get back to the table. You leave me any of those shots, I can't wait to get to the table and pot it to win Next thing, your head is gone cause you wish you went for the double
@MichaelScerri147

It’s all about percentages these are not straight forward pots and if you had to do it with $100 on the line every shot I think you might just see how it can be missed. But yes you are leaving them another chance it doesn’t mean you have to play it I’m just trying to open the mind up. Cheers for watching 👍
