My narc father loves gaslighting and playing mind games with me he loves screwing with my head. Everytime I question his narrative he either ghost me or gives silent treatment it's all a manipulative control tactic he likes using on me to make me feel like I'm worthless or not good enough to be treated well. He doesn't care how I feel everything is all about him! Especially when I confront him he says I never said that or you're just imagining things or you're delusional or crazy or you take things too seriously or why are you always reading into things or you're making accusations or I could never manipulate you I'm your father.

My older brother used a lot of the above singns. I wasn't able to think indipendently and was reliant on his thoughts and points of view. Our parents bboth worked most of the time, so I was alone with him often, especially when holidays were. I think i was the only kid, who didn't like holiday season, because I was alone with him most of the time. He made me his slave, and persuaded me to make household chores and breakfast. Also I had to listen to his parades, why the world hates him and when I disagreed he got angry. He also was extremly hippocritical. In his PoV he can do it; if I did it I can't, because of reasons. It was like that for decades until he moved out with his girlfriend and for the first time ever, I felt free. I remember it like yesterday, when one evening I sat on my computer listening to music and singing along. My brother hated it and he always made me know that. But that night I started, immediatly stopped, because I was afraid my brother would come in, but, he wasn't there anymore and I understood, in what mental siege I was almost two decades long. You get to a point, where you get used to that mental abuse and being in that constant fear and self pity, but that night changed me, that I can finally do what I want and not what HE wants. The relationship between me and him nowadays is frosty at least and I'm good with that.
