A great, much-needed video! I swear more than half the time I look at who's available for my 2nd round pick I audibly exclaim "Euuurgh, uch" Obviously the RBs in that range are great, but the problem is that I also feel like the RBs in round 3-5 are great, so because of ADP demands I'm often forced into going WR even when none of them particularly entice me. Which is all to say, I'm glad someone else feels the same struggle.

I've been a Trevor Lawrence supporter for a few years and I just don't have the same belief that I had before. Maybe there was too much hype when he first came into the league but he seems more like a "serviceable" QB, rather than a fantasy stud that many people thought he was going to be.

Yeah, I'm kinda agreeing with you on that one. I've always drafted him in the past, and even drafted him a few times this season already (funny though, I just realized I drafted him as my QB2 in this seasons tournaments). Still like him, and he's definitely got the talent, but until he breaks out, or the team, as a whole, figure things out, he's gonna be way out on the edge of my radar.

Pittman had NINETEEN redzone targets last year and only converted on 4 of them. I could easily see his target share remaining the same and having positive TD regression this year.

@@thecarter8700Pittman had 11 targets in 2 of the 3 games where AR played the full game. Not the biggest sample size, but it's clear to me that he'll be his #1 target this year. I know he isn't the most talented WR, compared to other's going around his ADP, but I think he has a good chance of improving this year. Also, if AR were to go down, I have a lot more faith in Flacco taking over that offense vs Minshew, making him a safe WR2 with WR1 upside. Mind you, I don't play best ball, so I could see Pittman not being as lucrative of a pick as waddle/nico/aiyuk/etc. I usually play in full PPR formats, so I'm biased

Not sure what format your dynasty is in but I recommend not drafting any RBs early except for Gibbs, Hall, or Bijan. The value of an RB can decrease rapidly in any given year. Plus, their value rarely if ever increase once they pass age 25.

I recommend loading up at WR. They can last you the next 5-10 years because a good WR will maintain their value for a long time. Then get some aging RBs that can still produce for another 1-2 years in round 10+. You can draft young RBs in the upcoming rookie draft or trade for some when needed. This gives you the best way to win now and win later. You won’t be in a long rebuild.

Pittman is a dicey call. He was feast or famine with AR. His 4 games with AR at QB last year: 1: 23.7 2: 13.6 3: 2.5 4: 4.8 (5.4 with Minshew) Boom or bust avg 11 PPG no chance.

Nicco last yr one of my best draft picks ever. Texans remind of the Bengals a lot. Brian Thomas seems like a good dart throw to me. Larence had Tee to throw to in college. I thought Thomas was gonna be more of a prized Wr in the draft. They lost Zay & Ridley. Gabe got paid also but I'm betting Thomas could be a value keeper in redraft to get in early on.

Great video! On Pittman-- i think something to consider is the lack of RPO style offense from Richardson vs Minshew. So much of the offense last year were first look RPOs to Pittman which may not be replicatable this season esp if he isnt getting open vs man consistently.

I don't get why they think Michael Pittman is higher upside with a running qb who throws infrequently to a decent statue qb who threw the ball much more per game. And now they are bringing in a big round 2 wr who will lead to even less td upside. Pittman is safe and has good floor but has little upside to make it to the top 10

It's because Tank is likely to be more impacted by Stephon Diggs. Nico being the Big Fast X receiver isn't likely to lose much volume to Diggs IMO.

I’m staying away from Neighbors too… Jones has only had over 15 TDs once in his 5 year career… only hit 3000 yards twice… no other stats than those should scare you away more than that… even if you extrapolate number for him being hurt… you still don’t get over 15 TDs… and 3000 yards… And this rookie is going to come in, and help him do what he couldn’t do the previous 4 years… and by the way… I see Richardson as a Jones that can run better

My biggest underdogs at WR are scary terry and pickens. Terry has had like 8 qbs throughout his career and all were horrible. if daniels is even an average NFL QB he should feast. 1k yards every season with 900 rookie is nuts. Pickens also will have his year 3 breakout. Decent coaching staff/ insane physically ability/ more targets cuz diontae gone and better QB play. If he gets the 140-150 targets like diontate, he will have 1400+ yards

If you extrapolate his numbers, he would have had 3200 yards or so and TWELVE TDS… He had a concussion and missed most of a game… then had a season ending injury on his throwing arm and didn’t practice the rest of the year, he threw back in May, but couldn’t throw a week later because of arm soreness… he ain’t getting better throwing on the side line and sitting looking at an IPad… Please enlighten me on how he’s the Truth???
