Never give up, make your way out of the darkness and pain step by step, little by little. I know how hard it is trust me. I've been there at different times, in different ways. I went through things as a kid that caused PTSD. Like he said therapy helps but I also know it cost a lot so it been off and on. At a time I resorted to stealing from stores and selling it mainly jewelry. I was a teen just trying to survive, when the two people you are supposed to trust most but aren't there for you are cruel to you it messes with your head for years. My first husband was a jerk it was all just more of the same a house of horrors. The only time I ever found peace of any kind was with my grandma and my aunt. I stayed in that marriage for way too long. The only thing holding me together was the woods we lived in and my daughter. Back when I was 15 and 16 I tried to unalive myself. I had been on a spiritual path on and off again for years. I started finally finding myself in those woods and raising my daughter and seeing the world through her eyes. I was already changing without realizing it. Finally I got divorced. I later met a wonderful man and we are married. It's not always roses and sunshine. We've had our problems but like normal ones, I have gone through a lot since then. My body saying FU and becoming disabled, breast cancer and a double mastectomy and much more. I realize it been a test it all has. I have had to learn to forgive , that doesn't mean I have let these people back into my life, but I forgive and learned to transmute it into something different into a way to help others. I'm 58 now it took a long time to find my path and the path that I'm on is ever changing and ever growing, as it should be. Even the bad things even the horrible things, we can learn to take deep dives into our own darkness. When we can pick one of them up and instead of reliving it, but hold it look at it from all sides like holding a movie real, even watching it like a movie not reliving it, pull it out through it up to the universe as the universe to destroy it, crush it, turn it into the most lightly powered gold filled with joy instead of negativity and grief and let it fall where the universe sees fit then you have released something that no longer serves your soul.
