Hoya lacunosa Borneo red becomes so beautiful! Mine grows faster than most of my other Hoya lacunosas, and I even wonder if it isn't a Hoya walliniana. 🤔 I also got mine from Edyta at HoyaPassion! I think I haven't made mine officially available at HOYAMYGOSH! yet, but I often give it away as a gift because it grows so quickly. 🙂 I believe that Hoya lacunosa Poonsak will take off for you. Mine is nearly uncontrollable. 😂 I also give it away as a gift because I try to promote more base-growth. I am happy to hear that your Hoya thomsonii silver is fast-growing. Mine is a sloth. 😂 But Miro keeps telling me time and time again that the Hoyas he receives from me grow faster than any others. I think they are doing it just to spite me for getting rid of them. 😂 However, my experience with Hoya thomsinii silver is the same--when a new leaf develops, it is difficult to see how silver it will become. Hoya lacunosa 1039, people are sleeping on this beautiful Hoya lacunosa... however you know how I feel about lacunosa. It's my favorite. Yours is growing so beautifully. 😍 I think yours has been slow because of the winter season and rooting. Hoya 'Rachel' has more "funky" leaves than her sister, and the leaves are a lot more unpredictable in shape. For this reason, I prefer this plant over Hoya 'Rebecca' and I suspect this is the reason that Hoya 'Rachel' became less popular in trade. Hoya lacunosa yellow from Indonesia will be an unstoppable grower. It becomes a mature plant SO QUICKLY but it has not yet bloomed for me in spite of this. If I didn't already send you a cutting of Hoya CSG18-021, please make a note of it the next time you order from me. I think you'll really love that Hoya. I'll send you pics on IG if you want. 😊 She's about to bloom. I am rooting a new Hoya linavergarae for you to replace the one you have. No worries. But I will say, keep your hopes up in spite of it. I had the same situation with a Hoya sp. Borneo and after 3 months under the lights in my grow tent, it finally put out a leaf. I have since sold it as a healthy happy plant. 💚 For future reference: species names (which are not locations like Gunung Gading) are lower-case and hybrid names are capitalized in apostrophes. :) P.S. for anyone who doesn't know, I own HOYAMYGOSH!

Thank you suuuuuper much for the long comment, Betsy!! All of the Hoyas I showed here have at least pushed out 1-2 new leaves 🤗 (except sp. aff. Linavergarae). Awww~~~ thank you Betsy! Will you have phytosanitary certificate available in spring? I remember you mentioned that in one of your videos/ post before 😀 Appreciated on the capital letter sharing, I try to look for naming rules of Hoyas but I rarely find sources. (I always go back to Miro’s video on naming of video tho😁)

Hoya linavergarae is such a difficult species to keep. Even here in our native country. Might I suggest increasing the humidity.

Hoya Linavergarae is indeed a challenging one🫠 really hope I can get more varieties in the future and see different flowers ☺️
