I like your tape measure but I miss a very important feature that you can easily make. The retract button, should work in the opposite way: When untouched the band do not retract, when pressed it retracts. In that way, can you measure and correct for without having to hold the button and when finished, you can just retract. Maybe an extra function, a build in speed breaker, it's never funny when the band is racing toward you and you have to stop it several times. A speed limiter could make it safer and nicer to use:-)

Im looking for a tool to cut away the outside sheath on a cable fast and efficiently without damaging the wires inside. Im having to constantly skin back 5-15 ft. On 7 conductor all the way to 12 conductor any suggestions would be nice as using a utility knife sucks in general as its slow, mainly because im new to the electrical trade and haven't master very many techniques. Also if you display a specific tool for a video first thing i see aside from the title atleaste show the tool in the video. Thats what caught my attention first not the title..... I've just wasted 10 minutes of my life on seeing things that I already own.

If the cable has a nylon string inside of it, hold it 90 degrees to the cable and pull it in the direction you want to strip.

back packs are for kids, that's a lot of weight on your back . You ignore the fact that your CPU is located in your head and wires called nerves travel down a bony conduit that has bursa to keep the vertebrae from touching, over time with weight on your shoulders compressing these bursa your bones begins to touch and nerves get pinched, your pain levels will be thru the roof, get a tool bag with the built in cart or your gonna suffer .

Spreading a load across the back is the best way to carry a load. Its using the back for lifting is what is not good.

Want to know what is worse for your back, more than likely that 40lbs of FAT you are carrying. Not the tools. OF course, I happen to agree a backpack is STUPID for carrying tools on a jobsite.

@@bushelfoot You walk 3 hours a day... Uh huh, and if you do, a backpack is what you wear, just like everyone else due to practicality unless you are running around an amazon warehouse with a cart. Now if you wish to whine that it needs a frame, transferring said load to your hips, uh ok, otherwise.... As for storing/using tools in a backpack instead of a carry tote/suitcase or a hip belt, yea, I'll pass on the backpack. Seems useless if you asked me.

9 years as an electrician 13 years in the trades. Klein is super expensive. Harbor freight cheapo tools are just as good. With 2 exceptions diagonal cutters and the life time easy return replace guarantee. Now homedepo no longer honers it in most cases. So do not buy Klein it's just not worth it anymore until they make it like it used to be for replacing and returning. But do buy good diagonals. Also the insulated I would go with Wiha they cost less and are as good do not go cheap on those it's your life.

Also Klein testers are super expensive and suck frequently give ghost readings very unstable go with fluke.

@@FiveStarsChannel milwaukee has some really nice tools, there multi tools are very good. But being in the trades and having thousands of dollars of hand tools stolen. You will save a lot of money just getting the cheap tools. It won't be long before milwaukee is just as expensive. If Klein gets there return policies back to how they where originally I would suggest Klein I have never been shocked using Klein I have been tickled while using milwaukee and the cheap stuff.
