I always look forward to your videos! I basically live in a “jeans plus” world! My favorite one is a straight or wide leg jean with a simple sweater (I am wearing that now☺) and either sneakers or loafers. My jewelry dresses me up or down. I use my skinny jeans for tunic-type sweaters that look kind of sloppy with other leg widths. I appreciate you styling blazers and cardigans, as I don’t reach for them at all these days! Good reminder to give them a whirl from time to time.

I loved your comment about designing your wardrobe with your favorite outfit formulas in mind. For work, my favorite formula is one column of color with a blazer in a different tone on top. My 2nd favorite formula is a matching top and blazer in terms of color, with dark trousers or jeans. Since I figured this out I've been adding to my wardrobe intentionally to make sure I have the matching tops and bottoms for my columns and matching tops for my blazers. Happy New Year Kay! My favorite is still a cardigan over a blouse or shell. Sometimes I’ll add a scarf instead of a necklace. I love a nice vest but currently don’t have any. I’ve been doing a front tuck lately when wearing a cardigan and it does give me better proportions and hides the post menopausal tummy 😮Shoes certainly make a difference! I’ve been a skinny jean girl for a number of years but have graduated to some of Soft Surroundings straight leg jeans. Love their fit on my 5’2” frame.

I ordered about 10 pairs of different styles from different brands and finally found two that I absolutely love. One is from Talbots (the barely boot) and one from Banana Republic (high-waisted slim). I am 5'1 and 104 lbs. I love these brands because they offer petite sizing. Thanks for your styling inspiration. By the way, I too saw the hummingbird sweater in the window of Sundance. Great choice!
