Japanese 87 goes like this: 八十七 - Kanji, characters taken from Chinese originally. はち　じゅう　なな - Hiragana (spaces wouldn't normally be there, but they're split to match each Kanji) Hachi jyuu nana - Romaji, Japanese spelled out using the alphabet, and how you read both of the above. Eight ten seven - The literal translation. Nothing fancy like "eight tens", it's literally just "eight" and then "ten".
