Yes! That would be fine because Olaplex isn’t a Protein treatment.

I understand No. 3 is a treatment and not meant for hydration, however, my hair is always super soft after using it. Also, No. 4 & 5 didn't do much for my hair.

If you feel you have product residue, for instance a styling cream or any oils, I would wash it before applying the treatment.

Hi Heidi, I’m a new subbie and just found your video. Thanks for information but, as I have Afro hair, I notice not many women with my hair type are commenting on our type 4 hair using this Olaplex product. I’ve just received some of No.0, 2, and 3 but as I straighten and colour my hair, plus I’m post menopausal, this is why I decided to try this and will be leaving in overnight - will use no.0 & 2 for a couple of weeks, then no.3 afterwards weekly (did lots of research) and then rinse out but leave a plastic cap & scarf on - will be starting this evening. 💃🏾👍🏽

I research a lot and had guessed right on these assumptions. BUT, I was completely aware they were GUESSES, especially about using too often. I'm so relieved to have my guesses confirmed! I will say as someone who has dark Virgin Hair, Olaplex IS working wonders for me!! I have massive hair damage from heat and styling tools and been using no.3 to see if it helps and it does!! I absolutely love it and notice a big difference form just one use! Definitely recommend to even Virgin Hair folks!!

Buongiorno Heidi, Buon Natale e buon anno nuovo a te alla tua famiglia 💐🎄I don’t bleach my hair and I don’t use very often heat tools, anyway my hair started changing after I turned 30, becoming fine and sometimes limp. Olaplex really helped and I can say my natural wavy hair got a great improvement after 6 months of treatments.

Good morning sweety 🍭 I also love hair care and have tried so much. I mean really really much ☺️Honestly, I admire those who get along with a shampoo and conditioner and have the best hair. I think I've just fallen for hair care products 🤪However, I do not use many silicone-containing shampoos and have alternating natural hair care. I am 43 and always had keralolgie today kerastase. Somehow I feel that the products are not quite as good as they were 20 years ago. Unfortunately today, many, even very expensive companies use cheap fillers such as paraffin, mineral oil and also too much or other silicone, which was already used at that time Twenty years ago I hadn't paid attention to the Ingredients but I notice the difference and I can say without a doubt that the nutritive line was really better at that time. Otherwise, the George Michael of Madison Avenue the Ouai and the redken share first place. Then olaplex kerastase and 100%pure. Dr George Michael is gold and absolute high class. Really absolute top class. Unfortunately no longer available in Germany in its original formulation, only in the usa the original. I don't have a credit card yet but I'll definitely buy it. It is so good that I do not understand why it is barely mentioned. If there's anything that works, it's this one. Absolutely incredible. Developed by a long hair specialist and lover. He has also written a book about hair especially long hair. I notice the difference enormously every time. Indispensable for long hair. Maybe you want to have a look at it and really worth a try 🤩😍. It is a system with multiple products, you would love it. Hopefully.. 💕💕💕They give your hair exactly what it needs. Bounce elasticity force shine volume and moisture. No cheap fillers or silicone that weights your hair down or build up. Ouai is also sooooo good. And the fragrance is a dream. I know a long text but also long experience 😍😘😂 Redken is definitely ahead of kerastase. Actually no matter since both loreal, Redken is really working especially the extreme and all soft line and kerastase only coats the hair. Period 😉Too much filler. Unfortunately. Soo now I wish you and your dearest a happy and relaxed Christmas. It just snowing and looks so beautifully. it's perfect. You're kind of sugar 🍭🧁🍬🍥 love greetings from South Germany

Protein can build up. So maybe I would space the treatments a bit? And from time use a clarifying shampoo to prevent build up.

I struggle with breakage around my crown now and i m using olaplex nr 3 and matrix rebond :nr 1,nr 2 and nr 3,plus masks,preshampoo argan oil and so..for me ,olaplex nr 3 works only if i keep it +1h and not less. Makes a huge difference for me.

@@heidiguttenberg it is a system called matrix total results re_bond :has a shampoo, and two conditioners (first you wash the hair,you then apply nr 2 a conditioner and you wait for a while,no rinse and on top you put the nr 3,wait and rinse. It is available in 200 ml size or 1 litre. You start noticing your hair stronger after 2 ;3 applications ,in my opinion is a good alternative ( i give it an 8/10 ) .With olaplex i stay on 1 h and with the matrix i wait 30 min after each conditioner.hopr i helpef.un abrazo:)

I quit going to a hair stylist because when I ask her to use olaplex when she was lightning my hair she told me I didn’t need it that it would mess my hair up that it would cause to much bonding and cross bonding so I tried to tease arch if that was possible and couldn’t find one thing about that. I did notice she was always in a hurry. I have had a few stylist tell me that using olaplex in lightener does take a little longer sometimes to process..She also used 40 volume on my already lightened hair she told me where she is fast at foils that’s why. So I’m in search for another hair stylist.. I did find a few articles on how some hair stylist would rather use a different bond builder instead of olaplex some say you don’t get as bright as blonde on some people as you normally would. I love olaplex line but I have been slacking I probably haven’t used a number 3 treatment in well over 3 or 4 months I have it at home but just haven’t taken the time.. lol . Hi Irene! No 3 is not a hair mask. So it doesn’t deep condition or hydrate. It’s meant to fight damage. So you need to follow with a hair mask that targets dry hair afterwards. Also, remember to shampoo No 3 off your hair.

Have you ever tried Fanola Fiber Fix? Their Bond connector no 2 is dupe for Olaplex no 3. I think its very very good and works the same, costs much less. Please check it out ☺️

I woild like you to try the Avon hair masl from advamced technique, it is so good. My hair is bleached,, and this mask repaired it. You should try it, however if your hair is healthy maybe this will be too much for you. But it is so good.

I have been using no.2 almost every day or every few days after finding a reputable seller(ouch to my wallet) I can really say it saved my constantly breaking hair and I feel like my hair is being given a second chance 🥺🥺🥺🥺 At the rate I'm going, I think I can slowly decrease the amount of use to only maintain the strength hehehe
