This song makes me feel comfortable with being lonely for some reason. People I called friends didn't even care that I was radio silent for 4 months. My family, whom I live with are always busy at work (which is respectable, really), and never talk at home makes home feel cold. Heck, theres this one time I forgot my phone at home like an idiot, got lost in the mountains like an idiot, and painfully navigated and walked home for almost half a day. When I came back, no one questioned where I was, even though I was visibly exhausted. A rather sad, lonely and pathetic existence I live. But it's the one I deserve really. I'll admit, it kinda hurts alot to be all alone every day, just working on something in desperation not to be forgotten, but... well as a terribly weak person, acting strong and continuing to walk the cold lonely path is the strongest thing I can do.

I was reminded of the suddenness of a death by this show. My grandma died last year and I was visiting her just 4 days prior. She was always the strongest member of the family with the most energy, even more than me, and I'm 55 years younger than her. I remember talking with her normally on Thursday and then on Friday she was in hospital for a heart attack.. We called her on Sunday and she seemed fine, but then we got a call at 5am on Monday that she'd passed from a brain stroke from not getting enough blood because of the heart failure. I didn't even register it for the first few days, but then I just broke down in school one day. And when I saw the scene by the drinking fountain in this show two weeks ago it all came back...
