Awe is a 2018 Indian Telugu-language psychological cross genre film written and directed by Prasanth Varma (in his feature debut). It is produced by Nani and Prashanti Tipirneni under their maiden production house Wall Poster Cinema. The film features an ensemble cast of Kajal Aggarwal, Nithya Menen, Regina Cassandra, Eesha Rebba, Srinivas Avasarala, Priyadarshi Pullikonda and Murali Sharma. It also features the voices of Nani and Ravi Teja.
The film released worldwide on 16 February 2018 and received highly positive reviews from critics and audience. At the 66th National Film Awards, the film won the award for Best Special Effects, and Best Make-up

Ok, first, this movie is such a masterpiece Secondly, i have a theory: The first time i saw that Krish, a psychiatrist fell in love with Radha, it didn't sit right with me because as someone who wants to be a psychiatrist(and thus follows them) this is unprofessional and looked down on. But when you realise that Krish was a personality of kaali, then it makes sense because i think Kaali actually had a psychiatrist who she fell in love with because they helped her a lot but then they had to reject her feelings and so Kaali created Krish and Radha so that she could live the fantasy of having a relationship with the psychiatrist And i am sorry for writing such a long comment but thanks if you read till here :)

This movie is such a masterpiece it's just perfect. There's a ton of key points in here aswell. At first i had so much confusion but as soon as the DID (another term for MPD) part was revealed i immediately knew and understood the whole story. I'm not a psychologist but i Love researching on such things, and from what I've figured out was; Kaali had probably had financial problems and, like how @zoospore said, her feelings were rejected and both of these points resulted as to the ghost of the wife. In DID, the personalities are developed to protect the actual person, which in this case would be Kaali, and who's the protector of the world? Shri Krishna! He's the one who has the duty of Earth, Shiv Ji and Brahma Ji have the duty of creations and peace/destruction. Which also includes the fact that Kaali was a dharmik person. Infact, since the two LGBT factors it may also include the fact that she was a person of this community and she never actually acknowledged it. And at last, it seems that due to the factor of "Moksha" it seems that finally, she was free from this cycle and achieved Moksha. All in all, this would be my most favourite movies of the time as it's so unique and original.
