Not only that, but Saban laid the foundation for Alabama. The blueprint is You play for me,win a National championship, and go pro. That became basically the pipeline for Alabama. That's how they won National titles back to back and won Recruiting wars. But now, every programs like Ohio state, Lsu,Texas,Usc,Clemson, Florida, and Miami, are using that blueprint. However, they have to win a national championship. You win that, and you get the recurits, you'll build a new improved roster and win a national championship it's more like rinse and repeat.

Coach Prime wasn't being "outlandish." He was being blunt and brutally honest. Winners have a certain mindset. They can't be run-off with words. Certain ones (i.e. the QB) knew they were done (unless they wanted to stick around as backup). So they did what they had to do. But some of the others . . . well, they took themselves out. Having played on a 1-11 team is nothing to be proud of. So, if the new coach comes in and starts cleaning house, from the top down, and you see the handwriting on the wall 'cause you know you're not gonna make the cut, then you do what you gots to do and get out of the way.

I will say when you are talking about smart and saban landing at their schools and being quite in comparison to Deion. One thing is the what did they inherit. Saban inherited a 6-7 team with an SEC record one year removed from a 10-2 record. So not great but not bad and at that time in college football it was ripe for the pickings. Then kirby smart entered a team that was prime to make a run for the play offs. They just needed a few tweaks. Prime entered a 1-11 recorded in a crappy conference 7 years removed from a winning season and only had a total of 3 winning seasons in 20 years. Its not the same. Saban and Nick didn't have much of a reason to say anything. The only reason they say anything now is to get that 1 or 2 percent better. Prime can say anything because honestly he really can do worse then what has just been done. Now two inherent worth entering the job. Okay, both Saban and Nick had some value when entering their current jobs, that is obvious or else they wouldn't have gotten said job, but lets be honest. Before Nick started winning at Bama and Smart at UGA how many people knew their names? Some did of course but Prime is a literal legend in the sport. Bama and UGA added value to Saban and Smart (yes Saban and Smart have enhanced Bana and UGA but when they entered the school gave them value). Prime is the one adding value to colorado. So again that and having few players affords him a power and privilege few other coaches have. And the Nebraska coach trying to call him out is simply jealous.

Wow! Man there is not anything to add to what you said but I will attempt to give a few spin-offs to what you said: Yeah each coach takes a particular path to where they are in the coaching world. As for Coach Prime he was a legend before he even started coaching high-school and then the desire to move up intensified to coach at the college level. Coach Prime has proven himself in different ways than other coaches and its just gonna take winning to make believers out of those who dont believe. Naysayers and no-gooders will attempt to tear down what Coach Prime has done and is trying to do simply because he's going against the norm to get it done. At the end of the day, no matter how much celebrity status Coach Prime brings or how many times he ushers in ESPN Game Day to the school or other bright lights to the program; the players still have to play. If they cant handle the brightest of.lights, they will have to move on. If people would mind their own business and just do their own thing, it might be better all around.

Also Coach Prime has stated numerous times he doesn't care about stars. Just cause they are starred players doesn't mean they translate well to the program. He wants quality and efficiency the same any other Coach worth their salt. As for coaches potential taking potshots at CP, envy shows itself in strange ways. Anyone who has followed Deion's career knows he's always been a big personality and that garners a load of attention. Some people would rather others dim their light rather than them finding better ways yo shine theirs, either way...WE COMING!

I hope it works out for Coach Sanders. I worry it’s to much about “Prime” Look no further than the conference champs over in Salt Lake City. Kyle Whittingham goes out of his way to avoid attention of any kind positive or negative in his direction. He aways deflects credit back to his staff and the players. When Utah Loses Kyle will always step up and except 100% of the blame.

Saban and Smart didn't have social media to level it is right now when they went to GA and Bama. They also don't have the celebrity that Prime has by far. Transfer portal is another thing that didn't exist then. So they couldn't just tell players right off that they weren't wanted. Well, I'm sure they did. The players just couldn't leave without all kinds of punishment from the NCAA mob rules. However, I'm sure they said some of the same things when they took over. Especially Saban because Bama was no where near the top. GA was closer to being a great program when Smart took over.

Thank You for being intelligent enough to realize these players are from last years 1-11 team. They know they won’t start and they know they would ride the bench. Being a man of integrity and character he has probably told the players to go ahead and get in the portal so they can get on another team. Why does Matt Rhule seem to keep up with what Coach Prime is doing? It’s obvious bc he has thrown shade at CP at least 4 times. CP is busy and hasn’t cared or given a thought to what Matt Rhule is doing. He comes across insecure. It comes across that he is trying to make excuses to players and fans as to why he isn’t like Coach Prime. Why does he take the time to talk about CP and things he has done? CP was given a 1-11 team with a programs that have been losers over a decade. That tells you only a handful would be any good. So Matt Rhule the reason 9 have gone in portal is because they aren’t good and Coach Prime wants to win. Matt just like you said Alabama had 9 or so leave. It’s common. I know Matt Rhule was a total failure his years coaching panthers. In fact they got worse every year he was there. Now he comes back down to college and can’t stop referencing Coach Prime. I like your very non bias

I think that's a great point about Saban and Smart, but I pose tis question of "why do we fascinate with history?" well the answer is so that we can not only repeat history, but fast track the repeated history. What I mean is. Kirby Smart and Nick Saban are two great coahes in CFB. Deion is well on his way and knowing the coaching style of Smart and Saban NOW as opposed to how they started. Deion already has the recipe. So, no I don't really think he's being assertive. He's keeping it real (like Saban and Smart do NOW) and folks more than likely don't like that, but if you don't like it, you're more than likely the problem, and we don't want you around anyway.
