What about ants? They are well known for working together to gather food. Some ants are fungus farmers, while others are fierce hunters. In some cases, ants can take down prey that’s more than 100x larger than they are. I should also mention that there are thousands of species of ants around the world. Some are extremely tiny and prefer hunting tiny invertebrates such as springtails. Other ants are up to an inch long (possibly more) and have stings powerful enough to take down prey such as frogs. In some instances, ant stings can cause fatal allergic reactions in humans. And then there’s the driver ant of Africa. They live in colonies that can consist of up to 20 million individuals. Driver ants are typically between 1/2 an inch and 1 inch long, and periodically move from place to place in search of food. These ants have been known to take down animals such as small lizards, frogs, large spiders, and possibly even small birds and small mammals, though they typically go after insects. Keep in mind that some prey animals are over 100x larger than the ants themselves, which work together to dispatch prey and take bits of it back to the colony to feed the young and the queen.

What people generally mean when we say deadliest animals, is most formidable to humans. It's incredible that the wolverine can kill large deer, elk, moose... but since I have hands and flexibility to stop a wolverine biting my neck or throat, I would be more capable of stopping a wolverine from killing me than a moose, and people have no hope of physically fighting off a bear, tiger, hippo, etc.

This is not quite the usual predator/prey situation but gulls have learned to feed off of the flesh of right whales that aurface off the coast of Argentina. In some cases this can lead to the death of a whale calf though the death might be due to the stress on their bodies of being attacked like this after a long trip to get there. Apparently mosquito swarms can kill a baby caribou. I'm not sure if the above cases should be considered acts of predators.
