What about birds that arrive in Britain themselves and colomise. Are these invasive? Two examples, collared doves and egrets.

I wonder how the Kinabatangan would have ranked. I wouldve imagined it has rather similar wildlife to the Mekong, plus having Elephants, but I dont know if thay makes it any more dangerous at all.

While reintroducing predators is a great idea you could never import enough jaguars to deal with the wild hog epidemic. It’s a reality that cull hunting is a necessity for some pest species, at least for the time being.

What makes this even more infuriating is that Chinese herbal medicine does actually work. But I guess saying you're taking golden rod or mushrooms for your issue doesn't have the same flair as saying you're consuming tiger penis. Such idiocy.

Once I was up in the mountains in Gifu having a barbeque with my friends by a river, and when I was standing in the river, a Japanese giant salamander just strolled by my feet. It was one of the coolest experiences of my life.

the most dangerous rivers are those polluted by humanity...swimming in them can make you deadly sick. Why make wildlife out to be bad.... humans are the most invasive and destructive creatures on this planet.

It’s not medicine. It should be called what it is. Superstitious Chinese nonsense. Like reflexology or acupuncture. Every Chinese medicine is just placebo and consumption of something gross and/or severely endangered.

Pandas are too stupid to exist and so are Dodo's but If we're going to bring them back they better become pets because the environment they came from have moved on with out them. Arbitrarily deciding what ecosystems to restore is not "fixing" Nature. Humans are animals too and how we change our biome is still part of nature..

I used to think a lot about the Chinese when I was young. But then I became aware of there selfishness, there lack of feelings about the damage they have on eco systems, and all the animals they torture until death. They are disgraceful human beings in my book.
