Slow and steady gets there every time. Good for you staying with it.

Great video for the Ripper. Haven't uses mine yet and we have a dozen old growth Doug Fir stumps to pull. Looks like each one will take quite a while even with my B2650. After watching your video I am heading out to give it a go.

Nice! Depends on the stump, but, many of the pine stumps I have pulled come out no problem (if not encased in ledge) sometime the 12" ones come out faster than a taprooted 6" one. Its all a gamble!

Impressive! Sure it takes a bit longer than a mini-excavator, but costs just a bit less too. Thanks for posting.

I'd like to see how you put the Quick-On bucket connector on!

One thing for sure is that your orange tractor goes much faster than my green one.

It's like diggin' a hole with a screwdriver sometimes. Time to go get out the bar. (or go to the bar). Then invite all your buddies with backhoes out for a big BBQ.

Orders take so long from Bxpanded but it’s pretty good stuff. Bought 1,800 of stuff from them so far. My ripper was just ordered last week.

Definitely easier and faster than hand digging. But machine seems undersized for what you expect it to accomplish.

Great demonstration. How far down do you think the Talon could dig a trench? My BX does not have the thumb. I have a small project and I want to buy one of these in lieu of the narrow buckets? Thanks so much!!

It would be basically the length of the shank, since the coupler/dog bone is larger than it. I believe it is around 1' in length.

Hard work for a little machine, my Grandfather used to say " you do not send a boy on a mans errand".

Ha yeah, but it always impresses me what it will accomplish. I do plan on getting some bigger equipment if jobs keep going like they are next season.

How much better than bucket for stumps in your opinion?
@CarlsonSonLandscapingLLC3 жыл бұрын
Definitely helps a lot on larger stumps where you need the breaking force to remove their roots prior to working the main stump. I have gotten quite a bit of use out of this attachment around my house and on some jobs.

I need one of those badly, I'd have already ordered one if they didn't require 4-6 weeks to deliver it. That's insane. I'm going to have to build my own I guess. How thick is the actual blade? Any chance you want to part with yours?
@outdoorjay13854 жыл бұрын
Good stuff. What does that ripper aprox run for? Can you throw it on any tractor backhoe?
@matthwsplayground16002 жыл бұрын
This one is $280 plus shipping. I'm not sure if it fits on anything other then the BX23S.

If you'll tap that geezer on the shin with the bucket that's standing too close and giving suggestions, he'll get back out of the way! Man, that drives me crazy!
