Well that would suck buying a place only to find septic system needing replaced. I was lucky in that owner had just replaced mine before I purchased it. Septic replace qualifies for "dirtiest job" in my book...

Never buy or build property that water runs down into. A disaster, waiting to happen. Always look at the he grade of the land.

I just love your videos, not only have I seen all (95%) of your clips but you were the very first one I started following seriously a few years back. You and your father have meant a lot to me personally with tips, ideas, guidance and inspiration over the years for one's own initiatives. To see your journey from your Kubota B23x and the first purchases of attachments to it and also your journey together (wife, your dog) with all the preparation of the plot around the house... ...grow to the first big step the purchase of the Bobcat E26 which has grown to today's video where you see all the machines attachments; T66, E26, E50 incl. tiltrotor Steelwrist (which I love.. (all major tiltrotor manufacturers come from Sweden)) and its attachments is amazing and impressive to see... all applause to you with family and to your father's participation... There are so many great videos which makes it impossible to pick just a few as favorites. I will always be grateful to you for all the new releases, so to see the new releases that are coming, these are better than any new released movie.. Best Regards! //Tony (from Sweden)

You could possibly hire a large chipper/ mulcher and turn all those rotten logs and brush into garden mulch you could sell and apply on jobs that need it.

Yeah, the biggest issue is generally the cost to do so outweighs the amount of material I would get from this size of a pile. Even the landfill I go to has troubles getting the big grinders out there and they have 20+ years of stumps.

Have you ever thought about chocking the tires or pulling the break away to lock the brakes when you’re loading that trailer up? I feel like it would relive some of the stress on your truck when loading. Just a thought, love the videos.
@CarlsonSonLandscapingLLC7 күн бұрын
I usually chock the tires, just forgot this time. Alongside that, the truck is in 4WD + Parking Brake for loading.

Awesome job love the video - do you have your CDL for this setup? Or are you just under 26k lbs?
@CarlsonSonLandscapingLLC7 күн бұрын
Thanks! I dont have my CDL, but would like to potentially get it in the future. The setup I have is under 26k, basically max it out with the 50.
@BTR-00707 күн бұрын
Good clean up! Wouldn’t hurt to chock your trailer and truck wheels. Lots of movement and rocking when loading the machine, could be hard on the transmission.

There is no way I could get anyone around my area to pay for the amount of work you are doing for this driveway. I wish they would. I would love to do it like this. I offer the correct way and a cheaper way, and not one person is willing to pay to have it done correctly in all of the years I've been doing construction

I am a retired Forest Engineer. I was surprised how much soil you contaminated the sub grade with. I would be interesting to see how the driveway looks at the end of this winter. Also what was the grade of the driveway and how much crown did you put in the driveway? Driveways do not get the ware that haul roads get but the principles are the same.
@BoiseTDI18 күн бұрын
I know nothing about building driveways but putting the riffraff on the sides seems very smart. Well done. 😊
